Background: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is an unusual complication of X-linked disease caused by loss-of-function (LOF) variants in the () gene. Patients with LOF may also present dysmorphic facial features, aortic dilation, thrombopenia, and periventricular nodular heterotopia (PVNH).
Methods: We reported clinical, functional, radiologic, and hemodynamic characteristics of patients with LOF variants and PH from the French PH Network.

Introduction: In recent years, caesarean section (CS) rate has risen worldwide. Complications associated with CS scars have risen too, such as scar dehiscences and uterine ruptures. Uterine healing is a complex phenomenon still poorly understood.

Background: Ultra-high dose rate (UHDR/FLASH) irradiations, along with particle minibeam therapy (PMBT) are both emerging as promising alternatives to current radiotherapy techniques thanks to their improved healthy tissue sparing and similar tumor control.
Purpose: Monte Carlo (MC) modeling of a commercial machine delivering 5-7 MeV electrons at UHDR. This model was used afterward to compare measurements against simulations for an experimental setup combining both FLASH and PMBT modalities.

Purpose/objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate students' perceptions of the reinforcement of knowledge via innovative, case-based, hands-on learning regarding indirect prosthetic material choice.
Methods: Six different clinical cases that represented common prosthetics were used in this simulation training. In each case, clinical pictures were associated with three-dimensional (3D)-printed replicates of final restorations and PolyJet polychromatic models with the goal of enabling students to deliberate and exchange ideas in small groups.

Background: [Lu]Lu-PSMA-617 (Lu-PSMA-617) prolonged life in patients with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) in VISION (NCT03511664). However, distinguishing between patients likely and unlikely to respond remains a clinical challenge. We present the first multivariable models of outcomes with Lu-PSMA-617 built using data from VISION, a large prospective phase 3 clinical trial powered for overall survival.

Objectives: We studied the socio-spatial inequalities of three types of general practitioner (GP) density in the Paris metropolitan area: the density of GPs present (that is, practising) in the census block and of those registering new patients for office visits and, separately, for house calls.
Study Design: An exhaustive simulated patient survey enabled us to determine the number of GPs practising in the Paris metropolitan region accepting new patient registration for continuing care at their office and/or for house calls.
Methods: We measured at the level of a census block three types of GP densities: density of GPs present, density of GPs registering new patients at their office and density of GP registering new patients for house calls.

The effect of past environmental changes on the demography and genetic diversity of natural populations remains a contentious issue and has rarely been investigated across multiple, phylogenetically distant species. Here, we perform comparative population genomic analyses and demographic inferences for seven widely distributed and ecologically contrasting European forest tree species based on concerted sampling of 164 populations across their natural ranges. For all seven species, the effective population size, N, increased or remained stable over many glacial cycles and up to 15 million years in the most extreme cases.

The world of cancer science is moving toward a paradigm shift in making connections with neuroscience. After decades of research on genetic instability and mutations or on the tumor microenvironment, emerging evidence suggests that a malignant tumor is able to hijack and use the brain and its network of peripheral and central neurons as disrupters of homeostasis in the body. Whole-body homeostasis requires brain-body circuits to maintain survival and health via the processes of interoception, immunoception, and nociception.

Inland navigation is one of the most sustainable transport alternatives to help decarbonise the world economy. However, the likely impacts of intensifying inland navigation on freshwater ecosystems are difficult to predict. A global map of knowledge that considers both abiotic and biotic responses to increasing shipping traffic and developing infrastructures is lacking.

Background: Despite the increasing efficacy of chemotherapy, permanently unresectable colorectal liver metastases are associated with poor long-term survival. We aimed to assess whether liver transplantation plus chemotherapy could improve overall survival.
Methods: TransMet was a multicentre, open-label, prospective, randomised controlled trial done in 20 tertiary centres in Europe.

Introduction: General Practitioners (GPs) play a key role of gatekeeper, as they coordinate patients' care. However, most of them reported having difficulty to refer patients to hospital, especially in semi-urgent context. To facilitate the referral of semi-urgent patients, we implemented an e-referral platform, named SIPILINK, within 4 wards from a large public French hospital (internal medicine, diabetology, gynaecological surgery and oncology wards).

A transmission detection mode was investigated with SERS analyses (SETRS). A comparison between backscattering and transmission detection modes was conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of performing SETRS analyses. The impact of various parameters on the SERS signal intensity such as sample volume, lens collection optic, laser beam size and laser power were then examined.
