The physical and mental health of nurses is directly related to the quality of medical services, so the quality of life of nurses cannot be ignored. This study is a Chinese nursing study that investigated occupational stress, job burnout, and quality of life of surgical nurses in Xinjiang, China.

The Application of ASSRs, P50, and MMN in the Exploration of Cognitive Dysfunction Involving Inputs and Processing in Insomnia Patients.

Objective cognitive dysfunction has been commonly found in patients with insomnia, such as attention, memory, speed of information processing, and executive functions. Auditory steady-state responses (ASSRs), P50, mismatch negativity (MMN) can meet varied need and estimate such different cognitive dysfunction. Thus, we can examine whether insomnia is associated with different cognitive dysfunction by such multiple event-related potential (ERP) tasks.

Objective: To investigate the value of the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and Interleukin 18 (IL-18) level in patients with deep vein thrombosis after receiving surgery for spinal degeneration; and we explore their significance in clinical practice.

Methods: This study was conducted in 296 patients who were treated in our hospital for spinal degeneration. After surgery, these patients were followed up for 1 month.

Background: In recent years, a variety of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) has been confirmed to be involved in the initiation and progression of osteosarcoma. Taurine-up regulated gene 1 (TUG1) plays an important role in the formation, invasion, and metastasis of osteosarcoma. Therefore, perhaps TUG1 is a potential biomarker for the prognosis of patients suffering from osteosarcoma.

This study aims to investigate the inhibitory effect of microRNA-337 (miR-337) on osteogenic differentiation in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells and its action of mechanisms. Overexpression and knockdown of miR-337 were performed in bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs). Cell proliferation was assessed by using a cell counting kit-8 (CCK-8), mineralization assay was performed by alizarin red staining, and alkaline phosphatase activity was then measured.

Anatomy and Imaging Studies on Cortical Bone Screw Freehand Placement Applying Anatomical Targeting Technology.

Objectives: A series of constant anatomical structures were used as guide targets for screw placement to improve the accuracy of cortical screw placement and reduce surgical injury and fluoroscopy radiation. The most commonly used angles and distances between the cortical bone screw insertion point and the lateral margins of the isthmus were selected as the contents of the questionnaire.

Methods: A total of 40 physicians were selected to determine the specific values for each angle and distance.

Minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis or conventional intramedullary nailing for distal tibial fractures: A cohort study protocol.

Background: Currently, both minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) and intramedullary nailing are the two most commonly used methods of treatment in distal tibial fractures, but controversy still exists regarding the clinical effects of 2 techniques. Our purposes were to compare MIPO and intramedullary nailing for distal tibia shaft fractures by assessing functional outcomes and complications.

Methods: Data were collected retrospectively from the charts of patients treated for distal tibial extra-articular fractures between May 2012 and July 2018.

Physician awareness and attitudes regarding early warning score systems in mainland China: a cross-sectional study.

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to assess the application of the early warning score system (EWS-S) and gauge physician awareness, perceptions of necessity and attitudes regarding these tools based on previously experienced unnoticed clinical deterioration (CDET).

Methods: A cross-sectional survey was carried out via an online questionnaire at a large 3,500-bed Class 3A general hospital in China. A total of 299 physicians of adult general wards were asked to answer a translated questionnaire that was localised from the original version.

LncRNA Gm4419 Regulates Myocardial Ischemia/Reperfusion Injury Through Targeting the miR-682/TRAF3 Axis.

Myocardial cell death during acute myocardial infarction occurs because of acute ischemia, persistent ischemia, reperfusion-associated injury, and the inflammatory infiltrate as a response to cell necrosis. In the present study, quantitative real-time PCR showed that lncRNA Gm4419 was highly upregulated in ischemia/reperfusion myocardial tissues and hypoxia/reoxygenation H9C2 cells, whereas miR-682 was downregulated. Knocking down Gm4419 with sh-Gm4419 resulted in the rescue of myocardial infarction and apoptosis induced by ischemia/reperfusion or hypoxia/reoxygenation.

MicroRNA regulatory pattern in spinal cord ischemia-reperfusion injury.

Purpose: Osteosarcoma (OS) is the most common primary bone tumor, with high morbidity in infants and adolescents. Long noncoding RNA LINC00313 has been found to modulate papillary thyroid cancer tumorigenesis and to be dysregulate in lung cancer. However, the role of LINC00313 in OS has not yet been addressed.

Anatomical research on strength of screw track fixation in novel cortical bone trajectory for osteoporosis lumbar spine.

Objectives: The cortical bone screw has good internal fixation effect on osteoporotic bone. In order to further increase the strength of screw track fixation in cortical bone trajectory, this study introduced a modified technique with novel insertion point and angle for cortical bone screw placement.

Methods: Cortical bone screws were placed in four dry and six wet and intact lumbar specimens according to the modified technique.

To investigate the effect of Baicalin on the expression of connexin 36 (Cx36) in cerebral cortex and striatum area of 6-OHDA-induced Parkinson's (PD) model rats and its significance. Male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly divided into 6 groups, 12 in each group: normal control group, PD model group (untreated group), PD model (Medopa group), PD model (Baicalin low dose group) PD model (Baicalin medium dose group) and PD model (Baicalin high dose group). Except for the normal control group, 6-OHDA was injected using microinjection under the mouse brain stereotaxic apparatus to establish the hemiparkinsonian PD model.
