Introduction: Despite rapid advances in molecular biology, personalized molecular therapy remains a clinical challenge for endometrial cancer due to its complex and heterogeneous tumor microenvironment.Based on clinical findings, AIB1 is a marker molecule for poor prognosis in endometrial cancer and may serve as a potential therapeutic target. Moreover, it is well known that aerobic glycolysis plays an important role in tumour energy metabolism.

Objective: Nucleotide excision repair (NER) plays a vital role in maintaining genome stability, and the effect of NER gene polymorphisms on hepatoblastoma susceptibility is still under investigation. This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between NER gene polymorphisms and the risk of hepatoblastoma in Eastern Chinese Han children.
Methods: In this five-center case-control study, we enrolled 966 subjects from East China (193 hepatoblastoma patients and 773 healthy controls).

Purpose: To introduce a model for automatic segmentation of thoracic organs at risk (OARs), especially the esophagus, in non-small cell lung cancer radiotherapy, using a novel two-step deep learning network.
Materials And Methods: A total of 59 lung cancer patients' CT images were enrolled, of which 39 patients were randomly selected as the training set, 8 patients as the validation set, and 12 patients as the testing set. The automatic segmentations of the six OARs including the esophagus were carried out.

Introduction: Full-thickness skin wound healing remains a serious undertaking for patients. While stem cell-derived exosomes have been proposed as a potential therapeutic approach, the underlying mechanism of action has yet to be fully elucidated. The current study aimed to investigate the impact of exosomes derived from human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (hucMSC-Exosomes) on the single-cell transcriptome of neutrophils and macrophages in the context of wound healing.

Objective: The short-term therapeutic success of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in solid benign thyroid nodules is of great concern. The aim of this study was to investigate a new method, initial radiofrequency ablative ratio (IRAR) using contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), for predicting therapeutic success of RFA in solid benign thyroid nodules (BTNs) immediately and effectively after RFA.
Methods: A total of 813 nodules in 776 patients with benign thyroid nodules were treated with RFA from January 2014 to August 2018, among which 120 patients (M:F=41:79) with 120 solid BTNs (small: ≤10ml, n=57; medium: 10-30ml, n=42; large: >30ml, n=21) were enrolled in our study according to the inclusion criteria.

The growth of lymphatic vessels (lymphangiogenesis) plays a pivotal role in breast cancer progression and metastasis and the immune response. Vascular endothelial growth factor C (VEGFC) has been demonstrated to accelerate cancer metastasis and modulate the immune system by enhancing lymphangiogenesis. However, it remains largely unclear how transcription factors physically regulate VEGFC expression by interacting with histone-modifying enzymes.

Purpose: To introduce an end-to-end automatic segmentation model for organs at risk (OARs) in thoracic CT images based on modified DenseNet, and reduce the workload of radiation oncologists.
Materials And Methods: The computed tomography (CT) images of 36 lung cancer patients were included in this study, of which 27 patients' images were randomly selected as the training set, 9 patients' as the testing set. The validation set was generated by cross validation and 6 patients' images were randomly selected from the training set during each epoch as the validation set.
