Background: Virtual reality (VR) training uses computer-generated simulations that enable users to engage with immersive virtual environments, simulating real-world activities or therapeutic exercises. This technology is increasingly recognized as a promising intervention to address the physical and psychological challenges faced by dialysis patients, who frequently experience diminished physical function, social isolation, and emotional distress associated with prolonged treatment regimens. Given the increasing prevalence of dialysis patients and the limitations of conventional rehabilitation approaches, VR presents a novel, interactive method that has the potential to enhance patient well-being and improve quality of life.

Acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and sepsis are the leading causes of high mortality rates in intensive care units. While sepsis frequently affects the cardiovascular system, distinguishing between sepsis-induced cardiomyopathy and AMI remains challenging due to overlapping biomarkers. Misdiagnosis can hinder timely treatment and increase risk of complications.

Currently, vascular grafting is the preferred option to replace or bypass the defective vascular segments, but finding materials with good biocompatibility and diversity alternative for practical clinical applications are still the challenge. The construction of tissue engineered blood vessels (TEBVs) with complex structures will be realized using 3D bioprinting technology, which provides a new idea for vascular transplantation. In this paper, the decellularized extracellular matrix (dECM)/nano clay (NC)/sodium alginate (SA) hybrid bioink was prepared to construct tubular scaffolds in vitro by coaxial 3D bioprinting.

In the last decade, advancements in immunotherapy knowledge have highlighted CTLA-4, PD-1, LAG-3, TIM-3, and TIGIT, decisive immune checkpoints exhibiting within the tumor microenvironment (TME), as fundamental objects for cancer immunotherapy. The widespread clinical use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICls), employing PD-1/PD-L1 or CTLA-4 antibodies to obstruct crucial checkpoint regulators, is noted in treating B-cell lymphoma patients. Nevertheless, the prolonged advantages of the currently employed treatments against CTLA-4, PD-1, and PD-L1 are uncommon among patients.

Liver metastasis is a common cause of death in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients, but epigenetic remodeling and metabolic reprogramming for CRC liver metastasis remain unclear. The study revealed that the Lyn/RUVBL1 complex is highly expressed in CRC and is closely correlated with liver metastasis. On the one hand, ATAC-seq and HiCut suggested that Lyn/RUVBL1 regulates the expression of TRIB3 through the POL II-mediated chromatin conformation of TRIB3 and thus the expression of β-catenin.
