Therefore, a better understanding of the molecular mechanism is essential so as to provide possibilities for their use in combination with other agents. This study investigated the antiasthmatic and anti-inflammatory effects of Lactobacillus plantarum-CQPC11 (LP-CQPC11) on ovalbumin (OVA)-induced asthmatic Balb/c mice. Administration of different doses of LP-CQPC11 (10 , 10 , and 10 colony-forming unit [CFU]/mouse) effectively reduced airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) and the lung W/D ratio in asthmatic mice. LP-CQPC11 treatment reduced the accumulation of inflammatory cells in the BALF and attenuated histologic edema in asthmatic mice.

Purpose: The combined therapy of inhibiting T cell immunoglobulin domain and mucin domain 3 (TIM3) and programmed cell death 1/programmed death-ligand 1 (PD1/PDL1) has shown encouraging therapeutic effects in some solid tumors. However, the expression of PD1/PDL1 and TIM3 in fibroblastic tumors is ill defined, which has limited the application of these immune checkpoint inhibitors in such tumors.

Methods: Immunostaining of 68 tissue microarray cores of fibroblastic tumors, including intermediate dermatofibrosarcoma protuberans and malignant myxofibrosarcoma and adult-type fibrosarcoma, was used to determine the expression of PD1, PDL1 and TIM3, as well as their relationship with the accumulation of tumor-infiltrating T lymphocytes (TILs).

Objective: We aimed to investigate the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound in detecting abnormal blood flow in the fetal umbilical artery (UA), renal artery (RA), and middle cerebral artery (MCA) in order to reduce the incidence of birth defects.

Methods: The clinical records of 186 pregnant women who received color Doppler ultrasound assessment in UA, RA, and MCA were retrospectively analyzed. Of them, 95 normal pregnant women were assigned to the control group, whereas 91 high-risk pregnant women who later gave birth to babies with defects or had poor pregnancy outcomes in late-term were assigned to the study group.

Tristetraprolin (TTP), a well-known RNA-binding protein, primarily affects the expression of inflammation-related proteins by binding to the targeted AU-rich element in the 3' untranslated region after transcription and subsequently mediates messenger RNA decay. Recent studies have focused on the role of TTP in tumors and their related microenvironments, most of which have referred to TTP as a potential tumor suppressor involved in regulating cell proliferation, apoptosis, and metastasis of various cancers, as well as tumor immunity, inflammation, and metabolism of the microenvironment. Elevated TTP expression levels could aid the diagnosis and treatment of different cancers, improving the prognosis of patients.
