Purpose: The dynamic immunity of kidney transplant patients has not been fully elucidated. In this study, we explored the repertoire features of B/T cell receptor (BCR/TCR) of kidney transplant patients.
Methods: Using combined multiplex PCR amplification and high-throughput sequencing technique, we analyzed the uremic patients' BCR H chain and TCR beta chain repertoire which obtained 1 day before kidney transplantation (PRE-1), 1 day and 7 day after kidney transplantation (POST-1 and POST-7).

Protein arginine methyltransferases (PRMTs) are widely found in eukaryotes and regulate gene expression and post-translational modifications. PRMT1-PRMT6 have important roles in the pathology of cardiovascular diseases (CVDs), including atherosclerosis, heart failure and myocardial hypertrophy. Although these enzymes are also closely associated with various CVDs, the mechanisms of the involvement of PRMTs in the regulation of CVD have remained largely elusive.

Objective: Examining the role of EBV-miR-BARTs in nasopharyngeal cancer etiology and diagnosis.
Method: As the subjects of this study, nasopharyngeal cancer cell lines were chosen and then randomly assigned to one of four groups: the control group, EBV-miR-BART5-3p NC, EBV-miR-BART5-3p mimics, and EBV-miR-BART5-3p inhibitor groups. Utilizing reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction, we determined the levels of gene expression in nasopharyngeal cancer cells that had been treated with EBV-miR-BART5-3p (RT-PCR).

Tea seed saponins (TSS) are oleanolane-type pentacyclic triterpenoid saponin mixtures with various pharmacological effects. We aimed to explore the effects of a total of 4 weeks intragastric administration of TSS (140 mg/kg·day) combined with aerobic exercise (AE) on lipid metabolism and its associated oxidative stress in HFD-induced obese mice and to investigate the possible molecular mechanisms. TSS + AE intervention significantly reduced body weight and the adiposity index (including subcutaneous, epididymal, perirenal, and abdominal adipose) in obese mice; improved dyslipidemia by lowering serum TC, TG, and LDL-c levels; and increased HDL-c levels.

Ferroptosis, a type of iron-dependent cell death, has been linked with the occurrence and progression of malignant tumors, including colorectal cancer (CRC). Fucoidan, an algal fucose-rich molecule, has been discovered preclinically to have an anti-CRC signature. Although some underlying mechanisms are reported, many signaling pathways associated with ferroptosis in fucoidan treatment of CRC are still unidentified.

Background: C-C chemokine receptor 5 (CCR5) has recently been recognized as an underlying therapeutic target for various malignancies. However, the association of CCR5 with prognosis in the head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC) patients and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) is unclear.
Methods: In the current experiment, methods such as the Tumor Immune Estimation Resource Analysis (TIMER), Gene Expression Profiling Interactive Analysis (GEPIA), UALCAN, and Kaplan-Meier plotter Analysis were used to comprehensively evaluate the expression of CCR5 in human various malignancies and the clinical prognosis in HNSC patients.

Scoparone (SCO) is known to have curative effect of alleviating liver injury. The purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effect and possible mechanism of SCO against high-fat diet (HFD) induced non-alcoholic liver disease (NAFLD) through experiments and RNA sequencing. Male Kunming mice were fed with HFD for 8 weeks to establish a mouse model of NAFLD, and SCO was used to treat NAFLD.

As we all know, female obesity has become a global epidemic, which is usually accompanied with endocrine and metabolic disorders. Obese women are more likely to experience reproductive problems, including infertility, embryonic developmental defects and abnormality in offspring. Female obesity is a complex multifactorial condition, where there are many mechanisms involved in the effects of overweight and obesity on the development of these reproductive disorders.

Background: Accumulating evidences have revealed that the abnormal N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification is closely associated with the occurrence, development, progression and prognosis of cancer. It is noteworthy that m6A modification is widely existed in circRNAs and found its key biological functions in regulating circRNAs metabolism. However, the role of m6A modified circRNAs in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains unknown.

The spine has essential roles in supporting body weight, and passaging the neural elements between the body and the brain. In this study, we used integrated single-cell RNA sequencing and single-cell transposase-accessible chromatin sequencing analyses to reveal the cellular heterogeneity, lineage, and transcriptional regulatory network of the developing human spine. We found that + + fibroblasts with stem cell characteristics could differentiate into chondrocytes by highly expressing the chondrogenic markers and .

The involvement of oxidative stress in the pathological process of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) gives rise to the interest in exploring the association of genetic variations in antioxidant metallothionein () genes with HDP susceptibility. Seventeen single-nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) in genes were selected to conduct genotyping based on a case-control study consisting of 371 HDP cases (pregnancy with chronic hypertension (66), gestational hypertension (172), and preeclampsia or preeclampsia superimposed on chronic hypertension (133)) and 479 controls. The association between SNPs in and the risk of HDP was estimated with unconditional logistic regression analysis and further tested with the false-positive report probability (FPRP) procedure.
