Nanomedicine enables precision-targeted therapies through a non-invasive approach, and nanoparticles may be biologically affected during their colonization . Ensuring the efficient expression of their performance , while ensuring biosafety, is of great significance. Previous studies have employed genetically engineered following entry as a genetically engineered targeting synergist, to enhance the effect of focused ultrasound ablation by exploiting its targeted colonization of tumor tissue.

Gas therapy represents a promising strategy for cancer treatment, with nitric oxide (NO) therapy showing particular potential in tumor therapy. However, ensuring sufficient production of NO remains a significant challenge. Leveraging ultrasound-responsive nanoparticles to promote the release of NO is an emerging way to solve this challenge.

Purpose: Diabetes mellitus and metabolic homeostasis disorders may benefit from white adipose tissue (WAT) browning, which is associated with mitochondrial fission. Resveratrol, a dietary polyphenol, exhibits beneficial effects against abnormalities related to metabolic diseases. However, it remains unknown whether resveratrol contributes to WAT browning by regulating mitochondrial fission.

Backgrounds: Radical resection is the most effective treatment for perihilar tumors. Biliary tract reconstruction after resection is one of the key steps in this surgery. Mucosa-to-mucosa cholangiojejunostomy is traditionally performed, in which the bile ducts at the resection margin are separately anastomosed to the jejunum.

Background: Previous experimental studies have suggested that the consumption of soy isoflavones may have a potential impact on lowering blood pressure. Nevertheless, epidemiological studies have presented conflicting outcomes concerning the correlation between soy isoflavone consumption and blood pressure levels. Consequently, a comprehensive meta-analysis of all eligible randomized controlled trials (RCTs) was conducted to explore the influence of soy isoflavones on systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in adults.

Given the unique physiological and pathological characteristics of the lung, the direct, inhalable route is more conducive to pulmonary drug delivery and disease control than traditional systemic drug delivery, significantly circumventing drug loss, off-target effects, systemic and organ toxicity, etc., and is widely regarded as the preferred regimen for pulmonary drug delivery. However, very few lung diseases are currently treated with the preferred inhaled formulations, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and pulmonary hypertension.

Introduction: Fibrosing mediastinitis is a benign but fatal disorder characterized by the proliferation of fibrous tissue in the mediastinum, causing encasement of mediastinal organs and extrinsic compression of adjacent bronchovascular structures. FM-associated pulmonary hypertension (FM-PH) is a serious complication of FM, resulting from the external compression of lung vessels. Pathologic assessment is important for etiologic diagnosis and effective treatment of this disease.

The current use of the single serum biomarker α-fetoprotein (AFP) in clinical practice has limitations in terms of specificity and sensitivity. We propose a strategy that combines antigen capture polymerase chain reaction (AC-PCR), lateral flow assay (LFA), and electrochemical biosensors to detect both AFP and circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in liver cancer serum. First, we used the AC-PCR technique to achieve target separation, purification, signal conversion, and amplification, eliminating target heterogeneity.

Background: Dietary cholesterol has been confirmed to be associated with high risks of diabetes, hypertension, and stroke, but whether it is detrimental to cognitive health is highly debated. This study aimed to investigate the associations between dietary cholesterol and all-cause dementia and AD dementia.
Methods: This prospective study analyzed Framingham Offspring Study cohort (FOS) participants who were dementia-free at baseline and had detailed information on daily diet (measured by food frequency questionnaires) and demographic characteristics.

Background: Circulating cell-free DNA (cfDNA) concentration and integrity as noninvasive biomarkers play an important role in cancer diagnosis, prognosis and therapy monitoring. However, few studies have been conducted on the combination of plasma cfDNA concentration, integrity and tumor markers (CEA, CA125, NSE and CYFRA21-1) for cancer detection. Thus, the purpose of this study was to investigate the diagnostic value of combining plasma cfDNA concentration, integrity and tumor markers in early detection of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).

Compare and analyze the results of the domestic Lanyi AH600 glycated hemoglobin analyzer and other different detection systems to understand the comparability of the detection results of different detectors, and establish the best cut point of Lanyi AH600 determination of haemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) in the diagnosis of diabetes. Multi center cohort study was adopted. The clinical laboratory departments of 18 medical institutions independently collected test samples from their respective hospitals from March to April 2022, and independently completed comparative analysis of the evaluated instrument (Lanyi AH600) and the reference instrument HbA1c.

Objective: This study seeks to systematically evaluate and test the effects of yoga exercise intervention programs on sleep quality in breast cancer patients in order to suggest more optimized exercise programs.
Method: Computer searches of the PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science and CINAHL databases are conducted from the date of their inception to June 8, 2022 to collect randomized controlled trials on the effects of yoga exercise intervention on sleep quality in breast cancer patients. Two investigators independently carry out the inclusion and exclusion criteria literature screening, data extraction and methodological quality assessment of the included literature by applying the Cochrane risk of bias tool.
