Background: Although observational studies have revealed associations between idiopathic inflammatory myopathies (IIMs) and lung cancer (LC), they have not established a causal relationship between these 2 conditions.

Methods: We used a 2-sample Mendelian randomization approach to examine the bidirectional causal associations between IIMs and LC, using single-nucleotide polymorphisms selected from high-quality genome-wide association studies in the FinnGen database. Sensitivity analyses were conducted to assess potential heterogeneity and pleiotropy impacts on the Mendelian randomization results.

This study conducted a bibliometric analysis to identify the research trends and hotspots related to the immune response in PDT. We analyzed articles and reviews published from 1989 to 2023, retrieved from the Web of Science database.

We aimed to assess the independent and combined association of dietary antioxidant intake with BMD level and risk of osteoporosis among elderly population in United States through analysis of data in the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey.

In this study, we used the transcriptome and genome data of lung adenocarcinoma patients to analyze the expression of 36 angiogenesis regulators in lung adenocarcinoma. Consensus clustering analysis divided lung adenocarcinoma samples into 4 subtypes, A, B, C, and D, and the expression of most angiogenesis regulators in subtype B was higher than that in other subtypes.

Methods: aMCI patients were randomized into the moxibustion treatment (MT) group and the placebo moxibustion (PM) group. Each group received either moxibustion therapy or a placebo moxibustion for eight weeks.

Background: Falls are a global public problem and may be an important cause of death in older adults. However, older adults with mild cognitive impairment(MCI) are more likely to fall and suffer more damage than older adults with normal cognitive function, which shows the importance of preventing falls. More and more evidence shows that Baduanjin can improve the balance function of the elderly and reduce the risk of falls in the elderly with MCI, but the mechanism is still unclear.
