Background: Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) has high incidence and mortality rates. The discovery of an effective biomarker for predicting prognosis and treatment response in patients with NSCLC is of great significance. Bacterial lipopolysaccharide-related genes (LRGs) play a critical role in tumor development and the formation of an immunosuppressive microenvironment; however, their relevance in NSCLC prognosis and immune features is yet to be discovered.

The liver is the predominant metastatic site for diverse cancers, including pancreatic and colorectal cancers (CRC), etc. The high incidence of hepatic metastasis of pancreatic cancer is an important reason for its refractory and high mortality. Therefore, it is important to understand how metastatic pancreatic cancer affects the hepatic tumor immune microenvironment (TME) in patients.

Gut serves as the largest interface between humans and the environment, playing a crucial role in nutrient absorption and protection against harmful substances. The intestinal barrier acts as the initial defense mechanism against non-specific infections, with its integrity directly impacting the homeostasis and health of the human body. The primary factor attributed to the impairment of the intestinal barrier in previous studies has always centered on the gastrointestinal tract itself.

Titanium mesh exposure after cranioplasty is the most serious complication of this procedure. Although some clinical experience has been gradually accumulated over the years in the diagnosis and treatment of titanium mesh exposure, the treatment is often not standardized and it is difficult to achieve satisfactory repair results due to insufficient understanding of its pathogenesis and concurrent infections. To normalize the diagnosis and treatment of titanium mesh exposed wounds after cranioplasty and improve the therapeutic effect and the quality of life of patients, the Wound Repair Professional Committee of Chinese Medical Doctor Association organized an expert discussion based on the literature and current diagnosis and treatment status of titanium mesh exposed wounds after cranioplasty at home and abroad, and reached a consensus on the pathogenesis, preventive measures, and diagnosis and treatment strategies of titanium mesh exposed wounds after cranioplasty to provide reference for relevant clinicians.

MAPKK4 has been implicated in the pathological mechanisms underlying myocardial and vascular injury, specifically influencing endothelial cell damage and programmed cell death via subcellular pathways. Nevertheless, the regulatory role of MAPKK4 in coronary microvascular injury following myocardial infarction remains unconfirmed, and the exploration of targeted mitochondrial protective therapeutic agents remains unaddressed. In light of this gap, we established a MAPKK4 gene-modified mouse model of ischemia-reperfusion injury and employed Buyang Huanwu decoction (BYHW), a traditional cardiovascular therapeutic formula, to assess its efficacy in treating coronary microvascular injury post-ischemia-reperfusion.

Background: Onychocryptosis is characterized by the nail plate penetrating the lateral nail fold, resulting in varying degrees of infection and deformity. Standardized treatment protocols for onychocryptosis, particularly in Stages IIb, III, and IV, have not been universally established, highlighting the urgent need for the development of effective interventions.
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of wedge resection and nail groove reconstruction using the hanging thread knot for the treatment of onychocryptosis.

The inability of articular cartilage to self-repair following injuries frequently precipitates osteoarthritis, profoundly affecting patients' quality of life. Given the limitations inherent in current clinical interventions, an urgent need exists for more effective cartilage regeneration methodologies. Previous studies have underscored the potential of electrical stimulation in cartilage repair, thus motivating the investigation of innovative strategies.

Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy shows promise in treating malignant tumors. However, the use of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) CAR-T cells carries the risk of severe toxicity, including cytokine release syndrome, due to their "on-target off-tumor" recognition of HER2. Enhancing the quality and functionality of HER2 CARs could greatly improve the therapeutic potential of CAR-T cells.

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a significant global health threat, necessitating effective strategies for diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. This study employs a multi-cohort analysis approach to unravel the immune microenvironment of TB and delineate distinct subtypes within pulmonary TB (PTB) patients. Leveraging functional gene expression signatures (Fges), we identified three PTB subtypes (C1, C2, and C3) characterized by differential immune-inflammatory activity.
