Background And Purpose: Hyperglycemia on admission is common after ischemic stroke. It is associated with unfavorable outcome after treatment with intravenous thrombolysis and after intra-arterial treatment. Whether hyperglycemia influences the effect of reperfusion treatment is unknown.
