Backgroud: Li-Fraumeni syndrome is a hereditary tumor syndrome characterized by an elevated risk of malignancy, particularly acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), which can be caused by the heterozygous germline mutation. TP53 gene germline mutation is considered a potential risk factor and crucial prognostic parameter for acute leukemia development and diagnosis, but rarely occurs in adults, and its specific pathogenic significance in acute leukemia is unclear.
Case Presentation: We describes a case of a 45-year-old woman diagnosed with ALL.

Recently, the incidence of heat-related illnesses has exhibited a steadily upward trend, which is closely associated with several environmental factors such as climate change and air pollution. The progression of heat-related illnesses is a continuous process and can progress to the terminal period when it transforms into heat stroke, the most severe form. Heat stroke is markedly by a core body temperature above 40°C and central nervous system dysfunction.

Objective: This study aimed to analyse the characteristics of biochemical recurrence after radical prostatectomy via bi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging.
Methods: A total of 200 patients with radical prostatectomy admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to January 2021 were retrospectively enrolled as observation objects. According to whether there was biochemical recurrence after surgery, the patients were divided into the abnormal group (n = 62) and normal group (n = 138).

Objective: The standardization of warfarin anticoagulant therapy is the key to lifelong treatment for patients after heart valve replacement. The present study explored the possible risk factors for anxiety and depression during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and analyzed the influence of psychological state on medication safety.
Methods: Eligible patients received a web-based questionnaire survey via the Wenjuanxing platform during outpatient visits.

Evidence has demonstrated that exoskeleton robots can improve intestinal function in patients with spinal cord injury (SCI). However, the underlying mechanisms remain unelucidated. This study investigated the effects of exoskeleton-assisted walking (EAW) on intestinal function and intestinal flora structure in T2-L1 motor complete paraplegia patients.

Background: Zinc finger SWIM-type containing 4 (ZSWIM4) is a zinc finger protein with its function largely uncharacterized. In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of ZSWIM4 in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs).
Results: We found that ZSWIM4 expression is inhibited by the predominantly mutated protein KIT in GISTs, while conversely, ZSWIM4 inhibits KIT expression and downstream signaling.

Degradable piezoelectric materials possess significant potential for application in the realm of bone tissue regeneration. However, the correlation between cell regulation mechanisms and the dynamic variation caused by material degradation has not been explained, hindering the optimization of material design and its in vivo application. Herein, piezoelectric poly (L-lactic acid) (PLLA) nanofibers with different molecular weights (MW) were fabricated, and the effects of their piezoelectric properties, structural morphology, and material products during degradation on the adhesion and osteogenic differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) were investigated.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to understand the prevalence of chronic venous disease (CVD) of lower limbs in young men at high-altitude in Xizang, and to provide prevention measures.
Methods: The convenient sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey among males aged 18 to 40 above an altitude of 3000 meters in Xizang in April 2023. The contents of the questionnaire included basic information, symptoms of CVD of lower limbs, protection status and training needs.

Background: Because spontaneous remission is common in IMN, and there are adverse effects of immunosuppressive therapy, it is important to assess the risk of progressive loss of renal function before deciding whether and when to initiate immunosuppressive therapy. Therefore, this study aimed to establish a risk prediction model to predict patient prognosis and treatment response to help clinicians evaluate patient prognosis and decide on the best treatment regimen.
Methods: From September 2019 to December 2020, a total of 232 newly diagnosed IMN patients from three hospitals in Liaoning Province were enrolled.

Reports of pancreatic pseudocyst drainage during metabolic bariatric surgery are extremely rare. Our patient is a 38-year-old female suffering from obesity grade IV and presents a persistent symptomatic pancreatic pseudocyst 8 months after an episode of acute biliary pancreatitis. After an extensive evaluation and considering other treatment options, our multidisciplinary team and the patient decided to perform a one-stage procedure consisting of laparoscopic cystogastrostomy, cholecystectomy, and one-anastomosis gastric bypass.

Piezoelectric nanogenerators (PENGs) are booming for energy collection and wearable energy supply as one of the next generations of green energy-harvesting devices. Balancing the output, safety, degradation, and cost is the key to solving the bottleneck of PENG application. In this regard, yttrium (Y)-doped zinc oxide (ZnO) (Y-ZnO) was synthesized and embedded into polylactide (PLLA) for developing degradable piezoelectric composite films with an enhanced energy-harvesting performance.

A 60-year-old male farmer was admitted to the hospital with dysphagia for 2 months, and minimally invasive McKeown esophagectomy with lymphadenectomy was initially planned. However, congenital absence of the right gastroepiploic vessels (RGEVs) was blocked surgical procedure. Fortunately, we successfully performed esophagectomy and unconventional gastric remnant reconstruction without RGEVs, and intraoperative cervical venous superdrainage.
