This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed at evaluating the effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Bufei granule on stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We retrieved data from PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials, CNKI, Wanfang, and WeiPu (VIP) for studies focusing on whether the TCM Bufei granule would be effective in treating stable COPD. No language restriction and blinding were used.

Objective: To observe the effects of " acupuncture" auxiliary therapy on neurological function, blood pressure load and morning blood pressure in elderly patients with stroke complicated with hypertension, on the basis of " acupuncture" combined with nifedipine.

Methods: Seventy patients with stroke complicated with hypertension were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, 35 cases in each group. " acupuncture" and conventional nifedipine controlled release tablets were given in the control group.

The relevant literature of pathogenesis of essential hypertension (EH) and the clinical efficacy of acupuncture treatment of EH was retrieved from January 1, 1999 to February 28, 2018 in the CNKI and PubMed databases, and aimed to summarize and explore the mechanism of antihypertensive by acupuncture.It has been found that acupuncture exerts antihypertensive effect by coordinating multi-system, multi-target, multi-layer adjustment mechanism, such as acupuncture inhibiting of central and peripheral sympathetic nerve activity, rejusting immune system and expression of inflammatory response factors, regulating the balance of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), improving vascular structure and function, the anti-oxidative stress and promoting autophagy.

[Progress of the application of PET technology in acupuncture research].

To further investigate the application of positron emission tomography (PET) technology in acupuncture research field, with "PET" and "acupuncture" as keywords, the related literature published from 1997 to 2018 was searched in PubMed, CNKI and WANFANG database; then the literature was classified and analyzed. The results showed that in clinical and experimental studies, whether in physiological or pathological conditions, PET technology has verified the specificity of acupoints, bidirectional regulation of acupoints, and the clinical effect of -arrival from the level of brain functional activity. It has deeply revealed the central mechanism underlying that acupuncture has multi-target, multi-channel and multi-level overall effects.

Objective: To observe the difference in clinical efficacy between chicken-claw needling at Shangbaxie (Extra) and Hegu (LI 4) combined with acupuncture at Houxi (SI 3) and the conventional acupuncture at the 3 points for the treatment of hand dysfunction after stroke.

The literature regarding acupuncture for sclerosis in CNKI database, VIP database and Wanfang database from date of database establishment to April 1st, 2015 was retrieved. As a result, 26 articles of clinical researches and medical cases with significant efficacy were collected. It was found the methods and clinical plan of acu-puncture for sclerosis were various and distinctive, including filiform-needle acupuncture, electroacupuncture, bee acupuncture, fire acupuncture, moxibustion, herb moxibustion as well as acupuncture-moxibustion combined with cupping, hot compress, acupoint injection.
