Background: Facial trauma repair requires precise reconstruction while preserving aesthetic units. Traditional local anesthesia can distort tissue planes and compromise surgical precision.

Methods: This prospective study evaluated landmark-based nerve blocks versus local infiltration for complex facial laceration repair in emergency settings from January 2022 through February 2023.

Department of Anesthesiology, State Key Laboratory of Oral & Maxillofacial Reconstruction and Regeneration, National Clinical Research Center for Oral Diseases, Shaanxi Engineering Research, Center for Dental Materials and Advanced Manufacture, Fourth Military Medical University, Xi'an, CHN.

The impact of general anesthetics on brain function development is one of the top frontier issues of public concern. However, little bibliometric analysis has investigated this territory systematically. Our study aimed to visualize the publications between 2000 and 2023 to inspire the trends and hotspots in anesthetic neurodevelopmental toxicity research.

Background: C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 5 (CXCL5), an important chemokine, has been validated to promote human tumorigenesis. However, the clinical significance and the underlying molecular mechanisms of CXCL5 have not been completely explored in cervical cancer. Herein, the aim was to investigate miR-577-mediated CXCL5 signaling in cervical tumorigenicity.

Forkhead box P3 promotes breast cancer cell apoptosis by regulating programmed cell death 4 expression.

Oncol Lett

December 2020

State Key Laboratory of Cancer Biology, Biotechnology Center, School of Pharmacy, Air Force Medical University, Xi'an, Shaanxi 710032, P.R. China.

Forkhead box P3 (FOXP3), an X-linked tumor suppressor gene, plays an important role in breast cancer. However, the biological functions of FOXP3 in breast cancer apoptosis remain unclear. To investigate the underlying genes and networks regulated by FOXP3 in breast cancer, RNA sequencing was performed to compare FOXP3-overexpressing MDA-MB-231 cells and control MDA-MB-231 cells.

Objective: To perfect the theory system of minimally invasive treatment for osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) with β tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) bioceramic system and evaluate the effectiveness.

Methods: Eighteen New Zealand white rabbits aged 7-8 months were used to establish an animal model to verify the vascularization of porous β-TCP bioceramic rods. Micro-CT based three-dimensional reconstruction and fluorescence imaging were used to display the new blood vessels at 4, 8, and 12 weeks after operation.

Objective: To explore the genotype-phenotype correlation of a MYH7-D554Y mutation identified in an ethnic Han Chinese pedigree affected with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Methods: Ninety six cardiovascular disease-related genes were detected in the proband by exonic amplification and high-throughput sequencing. Suspected mutations were verified by Sanger sequencing among 300 healthy controls as well as family members of the proband.
