This study aims to investigate the effect and mechanism of Maxingshigan Decoction on inflammation in the rat model of cough variant asthma(CVA). The SPF-grade SD rats of 6-8 weeks were randomized into normal, model, Montelukast sodium, and low-, medium-, and high-dose Maxing Shigan Decoction groups, with 8 rats in each group. There is no strong evidence indicating the optimal treatment for breast cancer (BC) and no specific prognostic model. The aim of this study was to establish nomograms to predict the overall survival (OS) of BC patients receiving chemoradiotherapy and surgery, thereby quantifying survival benefits and improving patient management. A total of 1877 patients with primary nonmetastatic BC who received chemoradiotherapy and surgery from 2010 to 2019 were identified from the Surveillance, Epidemiology and End Results (SEER) database as the training cohort, 804 as the internal validation cohort, and 796 patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University (n=324) and Jiaxing Maternal and Child Health Hospital (n=472) as the external validation cohort.

FFA solution prepared by mixing palmitic acid(PA) and oleic acid(OA) at the ratio of 1∶2 was used to induce hepatic steatosis in L02 cells after 24 h treatment, and an in vitro NAFLD cell model was established. After termination of incubation, cell counting kit-8(CCK-8) assay was performed to detect the cell viability; Oil red O staining was employed to detect the intracellular lipid accumulation; enzyme-linked immunosorbnent assay(ELISA) was performed to measure the level of triglyceride(TG); to monitor autophagy in L02 cells, transmission electron microscopy(TEM) was used to observe the autophagosomes; LysoBrite Red was used to detect the pH change in lysosome; transfection with mRFP-GFP-LC3 adenovirus was conducted to observe the autophagic flux; Western blot was performed to determine the expression of autophagy marker LC3B-Ⅰ/LC3B-Ⅱ, autophagy substrate p62 and silent information regulator 1(SIRT1)/adenosine 5'-monophosphate(AMP)-activated protein kinase(AMPK) signaling pathway.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of drug-eluting beads transarterial chemoembolization (DEB-TACE) in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by propensity score matching (PSM) technique.
Methods: The clinical data of HCC patients treated with DEB-TACE in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2017 to June 2020 as well as their 36-month-follow-up data were retrospectively analyzed. The subjects were matched in pairs based on baseline data and laboratory indicators using the PSM method and divided into a pirarubicin group (n = 34), raltitrexed group (n = 34), and arsenic trioxide group (n = 34).

In this study, two novel fluorine-functionalized crystalline covalent organic frameworks (COFs), namely DF-TAPB-COF and DF-TATB-COF, were synthesized, and their ordered structure, porosity, suitable pore size, and abundant fluorine groups were expected to serve as effective carriers in drug delivery. The excellent cell viability of DF-TAPB-COF and DF-TATB-COF was verified using MTT assays. Both COFs exhibited very high loading capacities in terms of drug loading performance, in particular the drug loading rate of DF-TAPB-COF for 5-fluorouracil (5-FU) was up to 69%.

Primary pulmonary artery sarcoma (PAS) is a malignant neoplasm of the pulmonary vascular system originating from the intima, with clinical and imaging manifestations similar to those of pulmonary thromboembolism (PTE), and is often misdiagnosed. Spectral CT and PET/CT can clearly show the extent and metastasis of PAS and are valuable in visualizing adjacent structures such as lungs, bronchi, and mediastinum, providing a strong imaging basis for the diagnosis and differentiation of PAS, allowing treatment monitoring and follow-up.
