Traditional window glazing, with inherently adverse energy-efficient optical properties, leads to colossal energy losses. Energy-saving glass requires a customized optical design for different climate zones. Compared with the widely researched radiative cooling technology which is preferable to be used in low-altitude hot regions; conversely in high-latitude cold regions, high solar transmittance (T) and low mid-infrared thermal emissivity (ε) are the key characteristics of high-performance radiative warming window glass, while the current low-emissivity (low-e) glass is far from ideal.

Purpose: Recent research (Li et al. 2021) suggests an upregulated expression and activation of H1 receptors on macrophages in the tumor microenvironment, and concomitant H1-antihistamine use is associated with improved overall survival in patients with lung and skin cancers receiving immunotherapy. Background: We aimed to identify the central lifestyle, the most impactful among lifestyle factor clusters; the central health outcome, the most impactful among health outcome clusters; and the bridge lifestyle, the most strongly connected to health outcome clusters, across 29 countries to optimise resource allocation for local holistic health improvements.

Methods: From July 2020 to August 2021, we surveyed 16 461 adults across 29 countries who self-reported changes in 18 lifestyle factors and 13 health outcomes due to the pandemic. Three networks were generated by network analysis for each country: lifestyle, health outcome, and bridge networks.

The aims of this scoping review were to rapidly map relevant evidence on the relationships between perceived PL and mental health in higher education students and to determine the feasibility and value of conducting a full systematic review in this research area.

Quantitative RNA pseudouridine maps reveal multilayered translation control through plant rRNA, tRNA and mRNA pseudouridylation.

Pseudouridine (Ψ) is the most abundant RNA modification, yet studies of Ψ have been hindered by a lack of robust methods to profile comprehensive Ψ maps. Here we utilize bisulfite-induced deletion sequencing to generate transcriptome-wide Ψ maps at single-base resolution across various plant species. Integrating ribosomal RNA, transfer RNA and messenger RNA Ψ stoichiometry with mRNA abundance and polysome profiling data, we uncover a multilayered regulation of translation efficiency through Ψ modifications.

We evaluated the prognostic and therapeutic significance of measurable residual disease (MRD) during remission induction in pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) patients. In the CCCG-ALL-2015 protocol, 7640 patients were categorized into low-, intermediate-, or high-risk groups based on clinical and genetic features. Final risk classification was determined by MRD assessed via flow cytometry on Days 19 and 46 of remission induction, with additional intensified chemotherapy for Day 19 MRD ≥1%.

Background: We previously reported that increasing participation in Chinese calligraphy handwriting, one of the “Four Arts” traditionally mastered by intellectuals in China and currently widely practiced by older adults in the Chinese community, led to better working memory among individuals with subjective cognitive decline (but without mild or major neurocognitive disorder). Given that the default mode network (DMN) is closely correlated with the clinical symptoms and progression of Alzheimer’s disease, we aimed to investigate the effect of increasing calligraphy practice on the DMN.

Method: Community‐living older adults who had been practicing Chinese calligraphy handwriting regularly (at least one hour of calligraphy practice per week) and experiencing subjective cognitive decline (but without mild or major neurocognitive disorder) were randomly allocated into either the control group, where they continued their usual practice of calligraphy, or the intervention group, where they doubled their amount of practice for 6 months.
