Developing the portable CRP detection technologies that are suitable for point-of-care (POC) and primary care management is of utmost importance, and advancing the electrochemical immunosensors hold promise for POC implementation. Nevertheless, non-specific adsorption of numerous interfering proteins in complex biological media contaminates immunosensors, thereby restricting the reliability in detection efficacy. In this study, a three-dimensional flower-leaf shape amyloid bovine serum albumin/gold nanoparticles/polyaniline (AL-BSA/AuNPs/PANI) coating on the surface of the electrode was developed, which demonstrated strong anti-adsorption properties against bovine serum albumin, plasma, and cells.

The present study aimed to investigate verapamil's effect and its underlying liver regeneration mechanism in mice with non-alcoholic fatty liver. After 50% hepatectomy was performed, the changes of autophagy and liver regeneration were evaluated by detecting cell proliferation and autophagy at each time point.

Breast cancer (BC), with complex tumorigenesis and progression, remains the most common malignancy in women. We aimed to explore some novel and significant genes with unfavorable prognoses and potential pathways involved in BC initiation and progression via bioinformatics methods. BC tissue-specific microarray datasets of GSE42568, GSE45827 and GSE54002, which included a total of 651 BC tissues and 44 normal breast tissues, were obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, and 124 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were identified between BC tissues and normal breast tissues via R software and an online Venn diagram tool.

Background: Mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress are closely associated with the pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease. Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ coactivator 1 alpha (PGC-1α) is thought to play multiple roles in the regulation of mitochondrial biogenesis and cellular energy metabolism. Bioinformatic validation identifies candidate key genes in diffuse large-B cell lymphoma.

We identified 80 different expression genes (DEGs) for DLBCL versus nontumor and 77 DEGs for GCB versus ABC DLBCL. In the study, a novel sensing strategy based on dual-probe mode, which involved two groups of 2'-fluoro ribonucleic acid (2'-F RNA) modified probes, was designed for the detection of synthetic target double-strand DNA (dsDNA) of PML/RARα fusion genes in APL. And each pair of probes contained a thiolated capture probe (C1 or C2) immobilized on one of electrode surfaces in the dual-channel electrochemical biosensor and a biotinylated reporter probe (R1 or R2). The two groups of 2'-F RNA modified probes were separately complementary with the corresponding strand (Sa or Sb) from target dsDNA in order to prevent renaturation of target dsDNA.
