The incidence of inflammatory diseases, including infections, autoimmune disorders, and tumors, is consistently increasing year by year, posing a significant and growing threat to human health on a global scale. Recent research has indicated that RNA acetylation modification, a specific type of post-transcriptional modification, may play a critical role in the pathogenesis of these diseases. Among the various mechanisms of RNA modification, N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10) has been identified as the sole cytidine acetyltransferase in eukaryotes.

To develop and validate a machine learning (ML) model which combined computed tomography (CT) semantic and radiomics features to preoperatively predict Ki-67 expression in gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) patients. We retrospectively collected the clinical, imaging and pathological data of 149 GISTs patients. We randomly assigned the patients in a ratio of 7:3 to a training set (104 cases) and a validation (45 cases) set.

Here, we aim to recognize the function of Suv39h1 in DCM and to explore underlying mechanisms during this disease, providing new insights into DCM and novel guide for clinical therapy development.

Background: Breast cancer with lung metastases (BCLM) is a serious condition that often leads to early death. This study aims to screen the risk factors of early death in BCLM patients and establish a simple and accurate nomogram prediction model. To examine the role of CITED2 in myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury (MIRI) in a cell model and uncover the mechanism, hypoxia/reoxygenation (H/R) -stimulated H9C2 cell model was utilized as a MIRI cell model. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) as well as immunoblot assays were carried out to determine the expression of CITED2 in the MIRI cell model. This study aimed to develop a biomimetic scaffold by loading growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) into poly (lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanoparticles and incorporating them into polycaprolactone (PCL) scaffolds to promote synchronized osteochondral regeneration. The nanoparticles were successfully immobilized onto PCL scaffolds pre-modified with polydopamine (PDA) to enhance cell adhesion and proliferation.

Introduction: This report aims to present our initial miniseries of successful thoracoscopic repair for esophageal atresia (EA) and distal tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) of Kluth type Ⅲb3 in accordance with Kluth's classification.

Methods: From January 2012 to January 2024, ten patients with Kluth type Ⅲb3 EA-TEF were treated by thoracoscopic surgery. The therapeutic methods and surgical outcomes were retrospectively reviewed.

Purpose: Neurofilament-light chain (NfL) is associated with neurodegenerative diseases, which are increasingly prevalent with aging. Vitamin K has been shown a neuroprotective effect. Therefore, we aimed to explore the potential relationship between dietary vitamin K intake and serum NfL.
