Background: Infection of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) affects multiple organs throughout the body, which puts chemotherapy patients at even greater risk. This study aims to identify the clinical characteristics of gynecological cancer patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 during chemotherapy.

Methods: Gynecological cancer patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 during chemotherapy from August 1, 2022, to January 31, 2023, were enrolled in this observational cohort study.

Effects of High Cervical Spinal Cord Stimulation on Gait Disturbance and Dysarthropneumophonia in Parkinson's Disease and Parkinson Variant of Multiple System Atrophy: A Case Series.

High cervical spinal cord stimulation (HCSCS) was found to have therapeutic effects on Parkinsonian gait disturbance. However, the results were inconsistent and confounded with symptoms of pain. This study aimed to reveal the gait and dysarthric effects of HCSCS in PD (Parkinson's disease) and MSA-P (Parkinson variant of multiple system atrophy) patients without pain.

Here, miR-142 was found to be decreased in sepsis patients. And miR-142 was decreased but PD-L1 was increased in CLP-treated mice macrophages in a time-dependent manner.

Biliary tract perforation following percutaneous endobiliary radiofrequency ablation: A report of two cases.

Endobiliary radiofrequency ablation (RFA) has recently been recognized as a beneficial treatment option for malignant biliary obstruction using percutaneous or endoscopic approaches. The feasibility and safety of this method has been demonstrated in clinical studies, with pain, cholangitis and asymptomatic biochemical pancreatitis reported as relatively common complications. By contrast, hepatic coma, newly diagnosed left bundle branch block and partial liver infarction have been reported as uncommon complications.

Association of matrix metalloproteinase-10 polymorphisms with susceptibility to pelvic organ prolapse.

Aim: The aim of this study was to explore the correlation between genetic mutations in matrix metalloproteinase-10 (MMP-10) and susceptibility to pelvic organ prolapse (POP).

Material And Methods: From September 2011 to December 2013, 263 subjects were recruited, including 91 patients with POP (case group) and 172 non-POP patients (control group). Total MMP-10 concentrations in serum were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.

Percutaneous transhepatic biliary stenting in patients with intradiverticular papillae and biliary strictures caused by ampullary carcinoma: A case report.

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography with endoscopic sphincterotomy is a well-established procedure for the treatment of bile duct strictures. However, the procedure is difficult to perform in patients with intradiverticular papillae or tumor infiltration of the major papilla. [The clinical characteristics, treatment and outcome of macrolide-resistant Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in children].

Objective: To investigate the drug resistance of Mycoplasma pneumoniae among children with community-acquired pneumonia (CAP), and to explore the clinical and radiological characteristics of and the role of azithromycin in the treatment of of macrolide-resistant (MR) Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia.

Methods: Cases of CAP in children (n = 179) were prospectively enrolled in the Pediatric ward of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital from 1st September, 2010 to 31st August 2011. Pharyngeal swabs were collected for detection of Mycoplasma pneumoniae DNA.
