Background: The compromised well-being of educators engenders a range of educational, social, and economic issues that cannot be adequately addressed through the mere awareness of risk factors. The present research explores the mediating roles of self-compassion and emotion regulation strategies (cognitive reappraisal and expressive suppression) on the relationship between academic teachers' psychological resilience and mental health.
Methods: A total of 405 academic teachers from four colleges in Tabuk City, Saudi Arabia, participated in the study between September and November 2023.

MicroRNA-146a-5p (miR-146a-5p) actively participates in the process of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion (CI/R) injury. Dysregulation of the tumor necrosis factor receptor-associated factor 6 (TRAF6)/nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-κB) p65 axis is closely associated with inflammatory response. This study aimed to investigate the potential involvement of miR-146a-5p and TRAF6/NF-κB p65 in mediating CI/R progression in vitro.

The first vinyl-linked PPh-based covalent-organic frameworks (Pd@TMBen-PPh and Pd@TMBen-4F-PPh) were facilely constructed direct three-component Knoevenagel condensation, which could serve as outstanding heterogeneous catalysts for the Pd-catalyzed carbonylation coupling reaction owing to the synergistic effect of the flexible PPh-ligated Pd complexes and the rigid framework.

Objectives: The pathophysiology of diabetic cardiomyopathy (DCM) is a phenomenon of great interest, but its clinical problems have not yet been effectively addressed. Recently, the mechanism of ferroptosis in the pathophysiology of various diseases, including DCM, has attracted widespread attention. Here, we explored the role of PACS2 in ferroptosis in DCM through its downregulation of PACS2 expression.

Intrauterine adhesion (IUA) is the second most common cause of secondary infertility in women and can also lead to menstrual abnormalities and multiple adverse pregnancy outcomes. Therefore, elucidating the mechanism of its development is crucial for the prevention and treatment of IUA. This study will investigate the function and mechanism of forkhead box P1 (FOXP1)/DNA methyltransferase 1 (DNMT1)/unc-51-like autophagy activating kinase 1 (ULK1) in IUA.

Extrachromosomal DNA (ecDNA) refers to a class of circular, non-chromosomal DNA that has recently gained widespread attention due to its potential role in aging and neurodegenerative diseases. The generation of ecDNA is closely associated with processes such as double-strand breaks, micronuclei formation, and the breakage-fusion-bridge (BFB) cycle, all of which are integral to regulation of gene expression, genetic stability, and clonal evolution. In neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, and Huntington's disease, the aberrant formation of ecDNA is closely linked to defects in DNA repair, alterations in synaptic plasticity, and neuronal dysfunction.

Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the common malignant tumors, and most patients with advanced GC often develop chemotherapy resistance, resulting in poor chemotherapy efficacy. Therefore, it is crucial to clarify the specific mechanisms of their chemotherapy resistance. In this study, we analyzed the correlation between fos-related antigen-1 (Fra-1) and chemotherapy resistance in GC using bioinformatics, cell counting kit-8 (CCK8), and 5-ethynyl-2'-deoxyuridine (EDU) combined with flow cytometry; furthermore, we used energy metabolomics sequencing, combined with ChIP-qPCR technology, to elucidate the specific role of Fra-1 in chemotherapy resistance of GC cells and its related mechanisms.

Proinsulin translation and folding is crucial for glucose homeostasis. However, islet β-cell control of Proinsulin translation remains incompletely understood. Here, we identify OSGEP, an enzyme responsible for tA modification of tRNA that tunes glucose metabolism in β-cells.

Purpose: Mixed formulation of fosrolapitant and palonosetron (PALO), HR20013, is a novel fixed-dose intravenous antiemetic combination that could simultaneously antagonize neurokinin-1 and 5-hydroxytryptamine-3 receptors. This study was designed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of HR20013 plus dexamethasone (DEX) versus fosaprepitant (FAPR) plus PALO + DEX for preventing chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) in patients receiving highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC).
Methods: This is a noninferiority study.

Understanding the osteochondral junction, where non-mineralised cartilage and mineralised bone converge, is crucial for joint health. Current sample preparation techniques are insufficient for detailed spatial hyperspectral imaging analysis. Using the enhanced Kawamoto method, we used the super cryo embedding medium's temperature-dependent properties to transfer high-quality tissue samples onto slides for spatial imaging analysis.

Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by T cell-mediated pancreatic β cell loss, resulting in lifelong absolute insulin deficiency and hyperglycaemia. Environmental factors are recognized as a key contributor to the development of T1D, with the gut serving as a primary interface for environmental stimuli. Recent studies have revealed that the alterations in the intestinal microenvironment profoundly affect host immune responses, contributing to the aetiology and pathogenesis of T1D.

The use of fatty livers in liver transplantation has emerged as a crucial strategy to expand the pool of donor livers; however, fatty livers are more sensitive to ischemia‒reperfusion injury (IRI). Excessive congenital inflammatory responses are crucial in IRI. Hypothermic oxygenated perfusion (HOPE) is a novel organ preservation technique that may improve marginal donor liver quality by reducing the inflammatory response.
