Purpose: Item analysis of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) is an essential tool for identifying items that can be stored, revised, or discarded to build a quality MCQ bank. This study analyzed MCQs based on item analysis to develop a pool of valid and reliable items and investigate stakeholders' perceptions regarding MCQs in a written summative assessment (WSA) based on this item analysis.
Methods: In this descriptive study, 55 questions each from 2016 to 2019 of WSA in preclinical removable prosthodontics for fourth-year undergraduate dentistry students were analyzed for item analysis.

Background: Variation in host immune responses to SARS-CoV-2 is regulated by multiple genes involved in innate viral response and cytokine storm emergence like IL-10 and TNFa gene polymorphisms. We hypothesize that IL-10; -592 C > A and - 1082 A > G and TNFa-308 G > A are associated with the risk of SARS-COV2 infections and clinical outcome.
Methods: Genotyping, laboratory and radiological investigations were done to 110 COVID-19 patients and 110 healthy subjects, in Ismailia, Egypt.

In-depth scientific investigations have shed light on the potential of specialized nutritional supplements, combined with regular wound care, to significantly boost the management of pressure ulcers and the wound healing process. The study focuses on supplemental Vitamin C, Arginine, and Zinc due to their established roles in wound healing, aiming to assess the awareness and practice of healthcare workers in Saudi Arabia regarding these essential nutrients for effective wound management.
