Background: Lesions of the posterior segment of the medial meniscus are the most common intraarticular lesions associated with ACL injuries. Ramp lesions are tears in the peripheral attachment of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus. Such injuries are difficult to detect on preoperative MRI.

The health emergency linked to Covid-19 has been stressful for staff working in nursing home, and doubly painful for residents faced with the risk of infection and the reality of family separation. We explore in this article some psychological consequences resulting from their experience in the waning health crisis, hoping that the experience gained will allow greater efficiency in the event of a resumption of the pandemic.

Purpose: To evaluate first-line pembrolizumab monotherapy efficacy and safety in patients with unresectable cutaneous squamous cell carcinomas (CSCCs).
Patients And Methods: Patients, predominantly men, with their CSSCs' immunohistochemically determined programmed cell death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) status determined (tumor proportion score threshold, 1%), received pembrolizumab (200 mg every 3 weeks). The primary endpoint was the 39-patient primary cohort's objective response rate at week 15 (ORR).

V/Q SPECT/CT is attractive for regional lung function assessment, but accurate delineation and quantification of functional lung volumes remains a challenge. Physiological intra and inter patient non-uniformity of V/Q SPECT images make conventional delineation methods of functional lung volumes inaccurate. In that context it would be of interest to build statistical maps of normal V/Q SPECT to assess the physiological variability of radiotracers.

Importance: Checkpoint inhibitors targeting programmed cell death 1 or its ligand (PD-L1) as monotherapies or in combination with anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 have shown clinical activity in patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
Objective: To compare durvalumab, with or without tremelimumab, with chemotherapy as a first-line treatment for patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer.
Design, Setting, And Participants: This open-label, phase 3 randomized clinical trial (MYSTIC) was conducted at 203 cancer treatment centers in 17 countries.

Background And Purpose: Assess the evolution of gadolinium consumption and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners in France and Western Brittany (France) and compare regional practices between public and private hospitals for each organ specialty.
Material And Methods: We collected data from national and universal health registries, and Western Brittany's health care structures, between 2011 and 2018, about the number of MR imaging exams and machines, the number of delivered GBCAs (gadolinium-based contrast agents), prescriptions and administration protocols.
Results: Over the last eight years, we observed an increase in the number of MRI machines implemented in France (62%), correlated with the increase of annual gadolinium consumption (amount of delivered GBCAs in kg, 64%), without modification of the annual quantity of gadolinium used per machine (2.

Background: An international, multicenter extension study evaluated recombinant fusion protein linking recombinant coagulation factor IX (FIX) with recombinant human albumin (rIX-FP) in hemophilia B (FIX ≤ 2%) patients previously enrolled in a phase III study or who initiated rIX-FP prophylaxis following surgery.
Objectives: To investigate the long-term safety and efficacy of rIX-FP prophylaxis in adult previously treated patients (PTPs) with hemophilia B.
Methods: Male PTPs were treated with a 7- (35-50 IU/kg), 10- or 14-day regimen (50-75 IU/kg).

Half of patients newly diagnosed with esophageal squamous cell cancer (ESCC) have metastatic disease (mESCC) and therefore a poor prognosis. Furthermore, half of patients with initial loco-regional disease present disease recurrence after surgery and/or chemoradiation. In mESCC, the recommended first-line treatment combines 5-fluorouracil and cisplatin, although this has not been validated by a phase III trial.

In 2020, accreditation of molecular tests according to ISO 15189 is a requirement for all French medical laboratories. For many years, the GBMHM group (French Group of Molecular Biologists in Hematology) supports this approach through organization of external quality evaluation campaigns, and by publishing recommendations that have allowed the accreditation of the most frequent molecular tests for most laboratories. However, some molecular abnormalities concerns very few patients (and sometimes a single patient), and therefore cannot be evaluated in the same way, because of the lack of external quality controls or inter-laboratory comparisons.

Introduction: Tension band wiring is considered the standard treatment for transverse olecranon fractures. Its main complications are pin migration and discomfort caused by the hardware. We have designed and used "expulsion-proof" pins (EPP) that are shaped to prevent migration and reduce discomfort.

Several terrorist attacks have recently taken place in France and Europe. Various studies have shown a high prevalence of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other psychiatric disorders among the victims of these attacks. Nevertheless, research in this field is scarce and no cohort study has been conducted yet to evaluate the impact of a terrorist attack on teenagers directly exposed to this type of events.

Background: Heterogeneity is a major obstacle to developing effective treatments for patients with primary Sjögren's syndrome. We aimed to develop a robust method for stratification, exploiting heterogeneity in patient-reported symptoms, and to relate these differences to pathobiology and therapeutic response.
Methods: We did hierarchical cluster analysis using five common symptoms associated with primary Sjögren's syndrome (pain, fatigue, dryness, anxiety, and depression), followed by multinomial logistic regression to identify subgroups in the UK Primary Sjögren's Syndrome Registry (UKPSSR).

Objective: The clinical process for the diagnosis of intra-abdominal lesion due to blunt abdominal trauma in children is not consistent. The goal of the present study was to assess the efficiency of our institutional procedure to manage hemodynamically stable pediatric patients with benign abdominal trauma and to select patients who need a radiological examination in an emergency pediatric department.
Material And Methods: This was a prospective cohort study from June 2008 to June 2010 in a pediatric emergency department.

The purpose of this study was to determine whether optimal epiphyseal screw length could be predicted with reference to a given diaphyseal screw length when fixating a plate to the anterior surface of the distal radius. Computerized tomography scans of 40 wrists of 28 men and 12 women were semi-automatically segmented. A virtual anterior plate model was fixed to the distal radius.

Background: The curvature of the femoral shaft is generally considered as residing in the sagittal plane. While many studies have measured the femur's radius of curvature, very few have studied the orientation of the plane in which it resides. The orientation of this plane may affect the rotation of intramedullary nails or revision stems with diaphyseal locking.

Background: Anti-programmed cell death 1 (PD-1) and anti-programmed cell death ligand 1 (PD-L1) antibodies are novel immunotherapies for cancer that can induce immune-related adverse events (irAEs). These adverse events can involve all organs, including the haemopoietic system. Thus far, haematological irAEs (haem-irAEs) have not been extensively characterised.

Background: In patients with a first, unprovoked venous thromboembolism (VTE), the optimal duration of anticoagulant therapy (AT) is controversial due to tightly balanced risks and benefits of indefinite anticoagulation. The objective of this study is to assess among patients with a first acute pulmonary embolism (PE) who received ≥3 months of AT and thereafter had a planar lung scan, whether residual pulmonary vascular obstruction (RPVO) is associated with VTE recurrence after discontinuation of AT.
Methods And Analysis: We will conduct a systematic review with a meta-analysis of individual participant data of contemporary studies evaluating the prognostic significance of RPVO in patients with a first acute PE.
