Objective: We report a successful live birth after oocytes maturation (IVM) and fresh embryo transfer in a patient with autoimmune premature ovarian failure (POF) and performed a review of the literature of livebirths obtained after oocytes IVM treatment in this indication.
Methods: The patient was a 24-year-old woman with autoimmune POF diagnosed post-partum, who developed autoimmune polyglandular syndrome with serum anti-ovarian and anti-21-hydroxylase antibodies. The patient had typical symptoms of POF: secondary amenorrhea with hypoestrogenism, elevated gonadotropins and infertility; however, the serum anti-Müllerian hormone level and total antral follicle count remained normal.

Introduction: Genitourinary menopause syndrome (SGUM) is defined as a set of symptoms associated with a decrease of estrogen and other sexual steroids during menopause. The main symptoms are vulvovaginal (dryness, burning, itching), sexual (dyspareunia), and urinary (urinary infections, pollakiuria, nycturia, pain, urinary incontinence by urgenturia). SGUM leads to an alteration of the quality of life, and affects especially women's sexuality.

It is recommended to classify Borderline Ovarian Tumors (BOTs) according to the WHO classification. Transvaginal and suprapubic ultrasonography are recommended for the analysis of an ovarian mass (Grade A). In case of an undetermined ovarian lesion on ultrasonography, it is recommended to perform a pelvic MRI (Grade A) with a score for malignancy (ADNEX MR/O-RADS) (Grade C) included in the report and to formulate a histological hypothesis (Grade C).

The incidence (rate per 100 000) of borderline ovarian tumors (BOTs) increases progressively with age, starting at 15-19 years and peaking at around 4.5 cases per 100 000 at an age of 55-59 years (LE3) with a median age of 46 years. The five year survival for FIGO stages I, II, III and IV is 99.

In the Early Stages (ES) of Borderline Ovarian Tumor (BOT), if surgery without risk of tumor rupture is possible, then laparoscopy with protected extraction is recommended over laparotomy (Grade C). In case of bilateral serous ES BOT treatment with a strategy to preserve fertility and/or endocrine function, bilateral cystectomy is recommended if possible (Grade B). In case of mucinous BOT treatment with a strategy to preserve fertility and/or endocrine function, unilateral adnexectomy is recommended (grade C).

Background: Native tissue cystocele repair has been the cornerstone of prolapse surgery, especially since the learned societies warned clinicians and patients about serious mesh-related complications. Surgical techniques mainly consist in anterior colporraphy and vaginal patch plastron. However, success rates of native tissue cystocele repair are heterogeneous, depending on the design of studies and definition of outcomes.

Pelvic inflammatory diseases (PID) must be suspected when spontaneous pelvic pain is associated with induced adnexal or uterine pain (grade B). Pelvic ultrasonography is necessary to rule out tubo-ovarian abscess (TOA) (grade C). Microbiological diagnosis requires endocervical and TOA sampling for molecular and bacteriological analysis (grade B).

We sought to establish guidelines for hygiene care in newborns based on a systematic review of the literature and grading of evidence using the Groupe de Réflexion et d'Evaluation de l'Environement des Nouveau-nés (GREEN) methodology. We examined 45 articles and 4 reports from safety agencies. These studies recommend a tub bath (rather than a sponge bath) for full-term infants and a swaddle bath for preterm newborns.

Background: Fabry disease (FD) is a rare disorder caused by the deficient activity of α-galactosidase A (α-Gal A). This enzymatic deficit results in the cellular accumulation of globotriaosylceramide (GL-3 or Gb) and related glycosphingolipids in practically all organs and tissues in the body. The identification of deposits of Gb at the reproductive tract level suggests that this part of the body might be involved.

The French College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (CNGOF) has released its first comprehensive recommendations for clinical practices in contraception, to provide physicians with an updated synthesis of the available data as a basis for their practice. The organizing committee and the working group adopted the objective methodological principles defined by the French Authority for Health (HAS) and selected 12 themes relevant to medical professionals' clinical practices concerning contraception. The available literature was screened through December 2017 and served as the basis of 12 texts, reviewed by experts and physicians from public and private practices, with experience in this field.

Introduction: Choosing contraception for women over 40 can be sometimes difficult but it is crucial since fertility and pregnancy's risks still exist. It requires a thorough evaluation of the situation, in order to identify any vascular and metabolic risk factors, along with the uterine and mammary benign pathologies already diagnosed.
Objective: The objective of this review was to elaborate some guidelines for clinical practice regarding contraception's prescription for women over 40.

Methods: This prospective cohort study included 2505 pregnant women from eight academic genetics laboratories (695 high risk for trisomy 21 (risk ≥ 1/250) pregnancies in a validation study, and 1810 such pregnancies, without ultrasound anomalies, in a real-life NIPS clinical setting). Outcome was available for all cases in the validation cohort and for 521 in the clinical cohort.

It is known that fetal growth is usually proportional to left-sided cardiac output (CO), which parallels the right-sided CO and that congenital right-sided lesions are usually associated with better perinatal outcomes than left-sided lesions. Our objective was to document whether newborns from mothers with severe residual pulmonary valve insufficiency (PI) after surgical tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) or pulmonary valve stenosis (PS) correction have lower birth weight (BW) than newborns from mothers with absent, mild, or moderate PI. This is a retrospective cohort study of women affected with repaired TOF and corrected PS with varied severity of residual PI.
