Assessment of cell proliferation, survivability, and attachment was accomplished by studying the effects of varying concentrations of Curodont on gingival fibroblasts. Proliferation, survivability, and attachment were measured using Calcein-AM (a fluorescent dye that labels only living cells) via a microplate reader.
