Background Photon-counting detector (PCD) CT enables ultra-high-resolution lung imaging and may shed light on morphologic correlates of persistent symptoms after COVID-19. Purpose To compare PCD CT with energy-integrating detector (EID) CT for noninvasive assessment of post-COVID-19 lung abnormalities. Materials and Methods For this prospective study, adult participants with one or more COVID-19-related persisting symptoms (resting or exertional dyspnea, cough, fatigue) underwent same-day EID and PCD CT between April 2022 and June 2022.

Purpose: To develop and internally validate the MortalitY in Moderate-Severe TBI plus ICU Complications (MYSTIC)-Score to predict in-hospital mortality of msTBI patients without early (<24 h) withdrawal-of-life-sustaining treatments.
Methods: We analyzed data from a Neuro-Trauma Intensive Care Unit prospectively collected between 11/2009-5/2019. Consecutive adult msTBI patients were included if Glasgow Coma Scale≤12, and neither died nor had withdrawal-of-life-sustaining treatments within 24 h of admission (n = 485).

Hispanic women are disproportionately affected by gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM), yet few studies have assessed the impact of acculturation on health behaviors that may reduce GDM risk. We assessed relationships between acculturation and meeting American Diabetes Association guidelines for macronutrient intake and American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists guidelines for physical activity (PA) using baseline data from Estudio Project Aiming to Reduce Type twO diabetes, a randomized trial conducted in Massachusetts (2013-2017) among 255 Hispanic pregnant women with hyperglycemia. Acculturation was assessed the Psychological Acculturation Scale, duration of time and generation in the continental United States, and language preference; diet with 24-hours dietary recalls; and PA with the Pregnancy Physical Activity Questionnaire (PPAQ).

Background: Paramagnetic rims have been observed as a feature of some multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions on susceptibility-sensitive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and indicate compartmentalized inflammation.
Objective: To investigate clinical, MRI, and intrathecal (cerebrospinal fluid, CSF) associations of paramagnetic rim lesions (PRLs) using 3T MRI in MS.
Methods: This is a retrospective, cross-sectional analysis.

Palliative care (PC) teams commonly encounter patients with disorders of consciousness (DOC) following anoxic or traumatic brain injury (TBI). Primary teams may consult PC to help surrogates in making treatment choices for these patients. PC clinicians must understand the complexity of predicting neurologic outcomes, address clinical nihilism, and appropriately guide surrogates in making decisions that are concordant with patients' goals.

Objective: Criminal recidivism is common among patients in mental health residential treatment programs. Moral reconation therapy (MRT) has empirical support for reducing criminal recidivism by modifying antisocial cognitions and behaviors; however, its implementation potential in noncorrectional settings has been rarely studied. This potential was examined in a three-site effectiveness-implementation trial of MRT for justice-involved veterans receiving residential mental health treatment in the U.
