Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is a widespread infection associated with various cancers, including cervical, oropharyngeal, anal, and genital cancers. This infection contributes to 5 % of global cancer cases annually, affecting approximately 625,600 women and 69,400 men. Cervical cancer remains the most prevalent HPV-linked cancer among females, with the highest incidence seen in low and middle-income countries (LMICs).

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has led to multiple waves of infections globally. As the virus continues to evolve, new variants have emerged, some with concerning changes in transmissibility and virulence. Among these variants, the "FLiRT Variants" have recently gained attention due to their potential to alter the dynamics of transmission and disease severity.

Introduction: The International Continence Society recommends zeroing of transducers to the atmospheric pressure for invasive urodynamics. The range of abdominal pressure relative to atmospheric pressure is well-known in adults but has not been described in children. This prospective observational study was carried out to establish baseline abdominal in children.

Background And Aims: There is a huge load of central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) being reported in developing countries, with increased mortality and healthcare costs. Effective surveillance is a must to reduce the incidence of CLABSI. The current criteria (Centre for Disease Control and Prevention/National Healthcare Safety Network [CDC/NHSN]) for CLABSI surveillance have their own shortcomings.

Dear Editor An article published in 2020 in this journal reported a rare case of a young medical student presenting with low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma of the central airway. Curative sleeve resection was done, with negative margins and no evidence of lymph nodal involvement. The current letter presents a 3-year follow-up of the same individual and a short review of the evidence available for post-resection monitoring in such patients.

The interstitial lung diseases (ILDs) are a large, heterogeneous group of several hundred generally rare pulmonary pathologies, which show injury, inflammation and/or scarring in the lung. Although the aetiology of these disorders remains largely unknown, various cellular mechanisms have an important role in pathogenesis of fibrosis on the background of occupational, environmental and genetic factors. We have tried to provide new insights into the interactions and cellular contributions, analysing the roles of various cells in the pathogenesis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Vulval fibroadenoma is an extremely rare lesion, mostly seen in young adults. A 51-years-old woman presented with a painless, mobile, and pedunculated vulval mass. Fine-needle aspiration (FNA) was performed and was diagnosed as a benign fibroepithelial lesion possibly fibroadenoma vulva, which was later confirmed as fibroadenoma vulva histopathologically.

Monkeypox infection (Mpox) is caused by the Orthopoxvirus (OPXV) genus of the Poxviridae family, closely resembling its more famous sibling smallpox. Recently World Health Organization (WHO), have renamed monkeypox as Mpox citing racial concerns, so we will be referring to monkeypox as Mpox. There has been a recent outbreak in May 2022 when Mpox cases were identified in all six WHO regions.

The past few decades have witnessed a major leap in knowledge relating to the role of tumor microenvironment (TME) in carcinogenesis and evolving behavior of the tumor. Multiple factors within the TME modulate the cancer cells and the associated therapies. Stephen Paget first asserted that the microenvironment plays an important role in the growth of tumor metastasis.

Introduction: Radiation therapy is one of the most technically sophisticated branch of medical sciences which caters to very ill patients, some of whom may be terminally ill. Since patients are treated on an outpatient basis which requires daily visit to hospital for a number of days, it can make them sensitive toward any increase in waiting time for their radiation treatment. This could be a source of stress for them.

Background: Localized tenosynovial giant cell tumor (GCT) or giant cell tumor of tendon sheath (GCTTS), is a benign nodular lesion that arises from the synovium of the tendon sheath of the hands and foot. GCTTS is characterized by the presence of multinucleated giant cells and proliferation of synovial-like mononuclear cells. A clinical diagnosis of GCTTS is kept as a differential when a firm, nodular mass shows decreased signal intensity on both T1-and T2-weighted MR imaging.

With the decrease in severity of COVID-19 there is a sense of relief in the general population. However, there has been an increased incidence of cardiovascular and other organ complications post-infection, which have raised concerns about long COVID. The term "long COVID" was first used by Perego on social media to denote the persistence of symptoms weeks or months after initial SARS-CoV-2 infection and the term 'long haulers' was first described by Watson and by Yong to identify post-COVID conditions.

Background: Tracheal intubation, a critical intervention, performed by paramedics for airway management in trauma, has an unacceptably low success rate due to difficult airway, restricted access, and inexperience. Thus, the use of supraglottic devices to achieve ventilation has gained popularity.
Aims: We aimed to compare the success rate, time to achieve ventilation, and ease of insertion of two popular supraglottic devices, ProSeal™ laryngeal mask airway (PLMA) and I-gel™, in simulated difficult airway with limited access in manikins in different positions which were supine, head against the wall, and sitting position like in car seat.

Background And Aims: Limited studies are available comparing diagnostic accuracy of various airway predictors in geriatric patients. We conducted this study with primary aim to evaluate and validate the predictive value of 'standard airway predictors' like modified Mallampati test, thyromental distance (TMD), sternomental distance, neck movement (NM), mouth opening (MO), dentition and 'new airway predictors' like upper lip bite test (ULBT), ratio of height to thyromental distance and thyromental height test (TMHT) for predicting difficult laryngoscopy in geriatric patients.
Methods: This prospective, observational study was conducted on 140 patients above 65 years of age of either sex, scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring endotracheal intubation.

Introduction Many surgical techniques have been described for the treatment of Neer type II lateral end clavicle fractures like open reduction and internal fixation with hook plate, tension band wiring, coracoclavicular screw fixation, and distal clavicle locking plate. However, most of these operative procedures are associated with high perioperative complications ranging from hardware prominence, hardware failure, screw and plate pull-out, and infection. As the lateral end clavicle fractures has both vertical and horizontal stress forces, any technique counteracting both the forces should result in a better clinical outcome.

Robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) is the current standard of care with long term cure in organ-confined disease. The introduction of nerve-sparing (NS) to standard RARP has shown positive results in terms of functional outcomes in addition to the oncological outcomes. This article reviews the current perspectives of NS-RARP in terms of applied anatomy of the prostatic fascial planes, the neurovascular bundle (NVB), various NS techniques and postoperative functional outcomes.

The various lesions seen in the clinical presentation of post kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis (PKDL) are reflected in the histopathology of the type of lesion biopsied. The cells that form the dermal infiltrate include lymphocytes, histiocytes, and plasma cells in varying proportions. The infiltrate, which is mild and confined to the superficial dermis in macular lesion becomes denser with the increasing severity of the lesion.

Objective: To assess the clinical, urodynamic efficacy, and safety of mirabegron in patients with neurogenic detrusor overactivity (NDO) consequent to traumatic spinal cord injury (SCI).
Methods: This prospective cohort study was performed between January 2018 and July 2019 and included adult patients with stable traumatic suprasacral SCI, performing clean intermittent catheterization (CIC), and demonstrating NDO on urodynamic study (UDS). A 3-day bladder diary was made at the baseline after which all patients were started on Mirabegron 50 mg.
