A case is described of Ewing sarcoma of the uterus, an atypical presentation of an already rare cancer. A 55-year-old woman presented with abdominal pain, abnormal uterine bleeding and a uterine mass that measured 11 × 10 × 14.5 cm and demonstrated heterogeneous enhancement with possible areas of central necrosis, concerning for sarcoma.

Objectives: Data regarding the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) continue to emerge, however, there's limited data in regard to maternal and neonatal outcomes. Therefore, we conducted a retrospective analysis of all pregnant women who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 within Nuvance Health system.
Methods: Data were abstracted from the medical records of each patient and descriptive analysis was performed.

With the increased attention being given to cardiovascular risk factor reduction, the opportunity exists to substantially decrease the largest cause of mortality in diabetic patients. The concept that type 2 diabetes and CVD are linked via a common etiologic pathway (metabolic syndrome) has substantial ramifications for the care of individual patients. Many of the metabolic abnormalities that contribute to both glycemic disorders and CVD are interrelated.
