Work related factors are important drivers of depressive symptoms. However, the non-liner and multi-directional relationships between job demands-resources and depressive symptoms in critical care nurses has not been adequately analyzed.

Aim: Blunted niacin response (BNR) was an endophenotype of schizophrenia, but the underlying mechanism remains unclarified. The objective of this study was to verify whether genes associated with BNR pathway constitute the genetic basis and the pathological mechanism of BNR phenotypic psychiatric patients.
Methods: Two independent sample sets consisting of 971 subjects were enrolled in this study.

We aimed to investigate and compare the psychometric properties of the Chinese Mandarin Social Responsiveness Scale-2 (SRS-2) and its shortened version. The study assessed 670 children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) aged 30-54 months and 138 typical developmental (TD) children of the same age in mainland China. Our item reliability test revealed that only 36 items of the 65 items in the Chinese Mandarin SRS-2 (Preschool) met the reliability criteria.

Background: The quality of life (QOL) of patients with methamphetamine use disorder (MAUD) is increasingly recognized as an important outcome. Previous studies have found that impulsivity is negatively associated with QOL in mental disorders, but this relationship is rarely confirmed in patients with MAUD. We hypothesized that impulsivity is negatively correlated with QOL in patients with MAUD based on previous findings.
