Background: Cell cycle progression and leukemia development are tightly regulated processes in which even a small imbalance in the expression of cell cycle regulatory molecules and microRNAs (miRNAs) can lead to an increased risk of cancer/leukemia development. Here, we focus on the study of a ubiquitous, multifunctional, and oncogenic miRNA-hsa-miR-155-5p (miR-155, MIR155HG), which is overexpressed in malignancies including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a progressive chronic disease causing visual impairment or central vision loss in the elderly. The section on mesenchymal tumors in the 5th edition of WHO classification of skin tumors has undergone several changes, the most important of which is the inclusion of newly identified tumor entities, which will be the main focus of this review article. These specifically include three novel cutaneous mesenchymal tumors with melanocytic differentiation, and rearrangements of the CRTC1::TRIM11, ACTIN::MITF, and MITF::CREM genes as well as EWSR1::SMAD3-rearranged fibroblastic tumors, superficial CD34-positive fibroblastic tumors, and NTRK-rearranged spindle cell neoplasms. We investigate the adsorption of water molecules in the zeolite H-MFI at isolated Brønsted acid sites (BAS) for loadings of 1, 2, and 3 HO/BAS. We consider two approaches to the OAl-O(H)-Si sites: the Brønsted-type approach of HO to the acidic proton and the Lewis-type approach to the aluminium atom of the AlO tetrahedron.
