Does personality moderate the association between social involvement and personal recovery in psychosis?

Objective: Social factors are central in personal recovery (PR) and treatment of psychosis. However, weak associations between social involvement and PR were found. We aimed to replicate this weak association, and test whether it was explained by a moderating effect of neuroticism and extraversion.

Long-term trajectories of physical activity behavior in adults with physical disabilities and/or chronic diseases following rehabilitation: the prospective cohort study ReSpAct 2.0.

Purpose: This study aimed to identify trajectories of physical activity behavior from discharge up to 6-8 years after rehabilitation among adults with physical disabilities and/or chronic diseases, and to determine modifiable determinants associated with trajectory membership.

Material And Methods: 390 Adults with physical disabilities and/or chronic diseases participated in the Rehabilitation, Sports and Active lifestyle (ReSpAct) 2.0 study with measurements at 3-6 weeks before discharge (T0), and 14 (T1), 33 (T2), and 52 weeks (T3), and 6-8 years (T4) after discharge from rehabilitation.

Capabilities for Using Telemonitoring in Physiotherapy Treatment: Exploratory Qualitative Study.

Background: Telemonitoring (TM), as part of telehealth, allows physiotherapists to monitor and coach their patients using remotely collected data. The use of TM requires a different approach compared with face-to-face treatment. Although a telehealth capability framework exists for health care professionals, it remains unclear what specific capabilities are required to use TM during physiotherapy treatments.

Introduction: This study aimed to investigate how shared decision-making (SDM) and the use of different types of outcome information are applied in routine care management for people with multiple sclerosis (MS) in an academic outpatient clinic.

Methods: This qualitative study used the following: (a) observations of clinical encounters (N = 23) between patients and healthcare professionals (HCPs), (b) interviews with those patients (N = 17) and (c) interviews with those HCPs (N = 7). HCPs were not trained in SDM before the study.

Background: Changes in sleep and circadian function are leading candidate markers for the detection of relapse in Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Consumer-grade wearable devices may enable remote and real-time examination of dynamic changes in sleep.
