Purpose: While mammography is considered the gold standard for screening women for breast cancer, its accuracy declines in women with dense breasts. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the diagnostic accuracy of contrast enhanced mammography (CEM) for detecting breast cancer in intermediate and high-risk women, including those with genetic predispositions, over a decade-long cohort at a tertiary center.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed all CEM examinations performed for screening purposes at a tertiary center between 2012 and 2023.

Whereas previous projects attempted to standardize imaging in patients with axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA), few studies have been published about the need for specific details regarding the image acquisition and lesions that may be less familiar to general radiologists. This work reports consensus recommendations developed by the Assessment of SpondyloArthritis International Society (ASAS) that aim to standardize the imaging reports in patients suspected of having or with known axSpA. A task force consisting of radiologists and rheumatologists from ASAS and one patient representative formulated two surveys that were completed by ASAS members.

Purpose Of Review: The use of noninvasive techniques [noninvasive ventilation (NIV) or high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy] to support oxygenation and/or ventilation in patients with respiratory failure has become widespread, even more so since the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic. The use of these modalities may impair the patient's ability to eat. "To breath or to eat" may become a dilemma.

Importance: Mobile apps in the field of ORL-HNS, are widely used by patients and physicians, but neither necessarily developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals nor subjected to regulations by the United States Food and Drug Administration guidelines, with a resultant potential of risk for its users.
Objective: To provide the ORL-HNS physician with an updated list of scientific peer review literature- validated mobile apps for safe use for both the clinician and the patients, for screening, diagnosis, therapy and follow up for various ORL-HNS pathologies.
Evidence Review: A comprehensive systematic review of the scientific literature was conducted in "PubMed," "EMBASE," and "Web of Science" without limitation of publication date up to January 1st, 2023.

C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2 (CXCR2) has a role in tumor progression, lineage plasticity, and reduction of immune checkpoint inhibitor efficacy. Preclinical evidence suggests potential benefit of CXCR2 inhibition in multiple solid tumors. In this phase 2 study (NCT03473925), adults with previously treated advanced or metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer (MSS CRC), or non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) were randomized 1:1 to the CXCR2 antagonist navarixin 30 or 100 mg orally once daily plus pembrolizumab 200 mg intravenously every 3 weeks up to 35 cycles.

Objectives: To provide a systematic review of the literature on the effects of peripheral magnetic stimulation (PMS) in the treatment of chronic peripheral neuropathic pain.
Methods: A systematic search of MEDLINE, EMBASE, CENTRAL, CINHAL, Web of Science, and ProQuest was conducted from inception to July 2023 to identify studies of any design published in English language that enrolled adult patients (≥18 years) that received PMS for treatment of a chronic peripheral neuropathic pain disorder (pain > 3 months).
Results: Twenty-three studies were identified which included 15 randomized controlled trials (RCTs), five case series, two case reports, and one non-randomized trial.

Mechanical circulatory support has proven effective in managing postcardiotomy cardiogenic shock by stabilizing patients' hemodynamics and ensuring adequate organ perfusion. Among the available device modalities, the combination of extracorporeal life support and a microaxial flow pump for left ventricular unloading has emerged as a valuable tool in the surgical armamentarium. In this publication, we provide recommendations for the application and weaning of temporary mechanical circulatory support in cardiogenic shock patients, derived from a consensus among leading cardiac centers in German-speaking countries.

Background: Pressure overload of the right heart (pulmonary hypertension [PH]) can be an acute or a chronic process with various pathophysiologic changes affecting the dimensions of the heart chambers. The automatic four-chamber volumetric analysis tool is now available to measure the volume of the cardiac chambers in patients undergoing a computed tomography pulmonary angiogram (CTPA).
Purpose: To characterize the volumetric changes that occurred in response to increased systolic pulmonary arterial pressures (sPAP) in acute events, such as acute pulmonary embolism (APE), compared with other etiologies.

Point-of-care ultrasound (PoCUS) is used by health care professionals of various specialties worldwide, with excellent results demonstrating significant potential to advance patient care. However, in low resource areas of the world, where other imaging modalities are scarce and the potential of handheld pocket-sized PoCUS devices with great versatility and increasing affordability seems most significant, its use is far from being widespread. In this report, our group of Chadian, Israeli, and Canadian physicians with experience in rural, military, and conflict zone medical aid, discusses the barriers to the implementation of PoCUS in low resource areas and offers potential solutions.
