Visible-infrared person re-identification (VI-ReID) is a challenging cross-modality retrieval task to match a person across different spectral camera views. Most existing works focus on learning shared feature representations from the final embedding space of advanced networks to alleviate modality differences between visible and infrared images. However, exclusively relying on high-level semantic information from the network's final layers can restrict shared feature representations and overlook the benefits of low-level details.

Liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) was used to identify and analyze the main components of Da Hong Pao, Zunyi black tea, and Yunnan Pu'er tea extracts, explore the effects of brewing times on chemical composition, and analyze the differential components using chemometrics. Subsequently, network pharmacology and molecular docking techniques were employed to explore the potential active ingredients and mechanisms of action in combating hypertension (HTN). This study identified eight key chemical constituents of the three teas, with significant differences in their contents.

Ovate family proteins (OFPs) are transcriptional inhibitors that regulate plant growth and development and play important roles in the synthesis of secondary cell walls during pollen development. This study identified the pepper gene family based on the genome-wide analysis and used bioinformatics methods to provide a fundamental profile of the gene family. 74 genes with typical Ovate domain were identified in cultivated pepper Zunla-1, wild pepper Chiltepin and CM334.

The eubiotic lignocellulose has to be proven a useful source of dietary fiber. Dietary fiber is broken down into monosaccharides and then is fermented into short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs) by gut microorganisms of chickens. However, research on impacts of it on the gut microbiota of chickens was limited.

Biological desulfurization plays an increasingly important role in desulfurization industry. A strain of ZJ-2 with high Fe oxidizing efficiency was in this study isolated and screened to remove hydrogen sulfide from biogas. To further improve its oxidation efficiency, ZJ-2 was immobilized using carbon felt (CF), modified with graphene oxide (GO) and polyaniline (PANI), as immobilized carrier.

Eubiotic lignocellulose is a new and useful dietary fiber source for chickens. However, few studies have been undertaken on the impacts of its use as a supplement in different chicken breeds. In this experiment, 108 Chinese native breed Bian hens (BH) and 108 commercial breed ISA Brown hens (IBH) were chosen.

The Na/H exchangers () are a class of transporters involved in ion balance during plant growth and abiotic stress. We performed systematic bioinformatic identification and expression-characteristic analysis of genes in pepper to provide a theoretical basis for pepper breeding and practical production. At the whole-genome level, the members of the gene family of cultivated and wild pepper were systematically identified using bioinformatics methods.

An eukaryotic expression system of Congjiang pigs IFN-λ1 was constructed to obtain its expression in CHO-K1 cells and the inhibition effect of Congjiang pig IFN-λ1 on PRRSV proliferation was verified. The eukaryotic expression plasmid pEGFP-PoIFN-λ1 was constructed from the pig IFN-λ1 gene fragment and transfected into CHO-K1 cells. Expression was detected by fluorescence microscopy and Western blotting.
