Objectives: The study aimed to evaluate the correlation between self-reported pubertal developmental scale (PDS) and physically assessed Tanner staging by an experienced pediatrician among girls.
Methods: In a school population-based study in Zhongshan, China, we recruited 1,722 girls in grades 1-3 by a multistage stratified cluster random sampling method. Participants completed self-reported PDS questionnaire prior to physical examination.

A novel circRNA named circSQSTM1 (hsa_circRNA_075320) was screened out in atorvastatin (ATV) stimulated endothelial cells (ECs) by our group. Considering the anti-atherosclerotic function of ATV, we hypothesized the circSQSTM1 could protect ECs functions in AS progression. The effects of circSQSTM1 on ECs inflammation, oxidative stress and autophagy were measured by qRT-PCR, Western blotting, monocyte-endothelial adhesion assay, dichloro-dihydro-fluorescein diacetate and mCherry-GFP-LC3 labeling.

Background: Acute kidney injury (AKI) is frequently found in deceased donors; however, few studies have reported the use of imaging to detect and identify this phenomenon. The purpose of this study was to detect renal microcirculatory perfusion in brain-dead donors using contrast-enhanced ultrasonography (CEUS), investigate the value of CEUS in identifying AKI, and analyze the correlation between CEUS and preimplantation biopsy results and early post-transplant renal function of grafts.
Methods: This prospective study recruited 94 kidneys from brain-dead donors (AKI =44, non-AKI =50) from August 2020 to November 2022.

The combination of Sintilimab with pemetrexed/platinum has become the first-line treatment for non-squamous non-small-cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC). Here, we report a patient with metastatic large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma (LCNEC) treated with Sintilimab for five cycles who developed shortness of breath after activity. The level of creatine kinase (CK), creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) and cardiac troponin T (cTnT) were significantly increased.
