Anisotropic nanocomposite films of hydroxypropylcellulose (HPC) and graphene oxide (GO) were fabricated by blade-coating of the aqueous mixture to align the substance and subsequent solvent evaporation to freeze the oriented structure. Owing to the anisotropic structure, the composite films showed anisotropic mechanical properties and response to external stimuli. The influences of GO content, stretch rate, and relative humidity on the anisotropic structure and mechanical properties of the films were investigated.

Objective: To describe the characteristics of magnetic resonance (MR) signals generated by lipiodol and to assess the influence on MR imaging of hepatoma nodule.

Methods: Pure lipiodol and lipiodol emulsions mixed with 76% urografin in different ratio were imaged by both CT and MR; quantitative T(1) and T(2) measurements of lipiodol were performed. Fourty-one SD rats with transplanted walker-256 sarcoma in liver were randomly divided into six groups: 0.

Objective: To explore the possible effect of transforming growth factor-beta(1) (TGF -beta(1)) on the development of renal fibrosis in human mesengial proliferative glomerulonephritis (MsPGN).

Methods: Immunohistochemistry method, sirius red staining polarization microscopy and the computer imaging analysis system were used to detect the expression of TGF-beta(1), the distribution of collagen I, collagen III and collagen IV.

Result: In MsPGN with renal fibrosis, collagen IV was increased markedly, and collagen I and collagen III appeared in the expanded mesengial matrix abnormally.
