Alcoholic liver disease (ALD) significantly contributes to global morbidity and mortality. The role of inflammatory cytokines in alcohol-induced liver injury is pivotal yet not fully elucidated. To establish a causal link between inflammatory cytokines and ALD using a Mendelian Randomization (MR) framework.

Background: Cholangiocarcinoma (CCA) is a highly malignant biliary tract cancer with poor prognosis. Previous studies have implicated the gut microbiota in CCA, but evidence for causal mechanisms is lacking.
Aim: To investigate the causal relationship between gut microbiota and CCA risk.

Background: Sepsis-induced small-intestinal injury is associated with increased morbidity and mortality. Our previous study and other papers have shown that HIF-1α has a protective effect on intestinal mucosal injury in septic rats. The purpose of this study is to further verify the protective effect of HIF-1α on intestinal mucosa and its molecular mechanism in vitro experiments.

Background And Objective: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is a neoplastic disease that gradually develops due to genetic variations and epigenetic changes. Surgical excision is the first-line treatment for CRC. Accumulating evidence has shown that total intravenous anesthesia has beneficial effects for CRC patients as it decreases the probability of tumor recurrence and metastasis.

Background: Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is an aggressive liver cancer with poor prognosis. The gut microbiota has been linked to ICC, but evidence for causality is lacking. Elucidating causal gut microbiota-ICC links could inform prevention and treatment strategies.

Background: Pancreatic cancer is a deadly disease with a low five years survival rate, and chemotherapy remains the standard treatment for advanced cases. However, the efficacy of chemotherapy alone is limited, and there is a need for new treatment options. Recently, immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs), particularly programmed death-1 (PD-1) inhibitors, have shown promising results in various cancers, including pancreatic cancer.

To explore the clinical effect of "micromovement" in preventing intraoperative acquired pressure injures (IAPIs) among patients experiencing surgery in supine position. A total of 200 patients accepting elective surgery in supine position from 10 May 2023 to 4 July 2023 at Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital were selected and randomized into two groups (experimental group, n = 100; control group, n = 100). For control group patients, soft silicone foam dressing was applied to the sacrococcygeal region.

Background: Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a primary malignant tumor responsible for approximately 90% of all liver cancers in humans, making it one of the leading public health problems worldwide. The gut microbiota is a complex microbial ecosystem that can influence tumor formation, metastasis, and resistance to treatment. Therefore, understanding the potential mechanisms of gut microbiota pathogenesis is critical for the prevention and treatment of HCC.

The intestinal microbiota has an increasingly recognized role in the development of cancer, in which microbial interactions play a more important than expected role. Pancreatic cancer is a highly fatal disease, in which its mortality is closely related to its morbidity. Early detection is the best chance of improving survival.

Exosomes, one type of extracellular vesicle (EV) secreted by cells, participate in intercellular communication and other biological processes as carriers of lipids, functional proteins, mRNAs, miRNAs, lncRNAs, and DNA fragments. Their presence in biofluids makes them attractive candidates as innovative clinical diagnostic tools. However, the conventional isolation and analysis of high-purity exosomes in clinical application is challenging, with traditional methods facing a number of shortcomings, including low yield or purity, long periods of processing, high cost, and difficulties in standardization.

Increasing evidence suggests that an abnormal gene expression of is associated with HCC progression. However, the molecular mechanism by which non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) regulate remains elusive.

The outbreak of COVID-19 (caused by SARS-CoV-2) has posed a significant threat to global public health security because of its high pathogenicity and infectivity. To date, the pathogenic mechanism of this novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) is still unclear, and there is no effective treatment. As one of the most effective strategies to prevent viral infection, vaccines have become a research hotspot.

Network open curriculum provides a new solution for general education in local colleges and universities, which makes the network curriculum widely popularized and applied in colleges and universities. However, due to the lack of good curriculum learning evaluation, it is inconvenient for learners to choose. Therefore, this paper proposes to use the BP neural network model to evaluate the learning process of network general education course.
