Introduction: This research aimed to investigate the antibiotic resistance of from swine farms in Zhejiang Province and the prevalence and transmission mechanism of oxazolidone resistance gene .
Method: A total of 226 were isolated and their resistance to 14 antibiotics was detected by broth microdilution. The resistance genes were detected by PCR.

is considered an opportunistic pathogen and an indicator for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) monitoring. Despite many reports on its AMR monitoring, studies based on genome-based analysis of AMR genes are still insufficient. Here, 181 strains were isolated from anal swab samples collected from pigs and chickens of animal farms located in Eastern China and sequenced through the Illumina platform.

Mattress is among the main products of ectopic fermentation system (EFS); however, the research on the data of antimicrobial residues in the mattress of EFS and risk assessments of mattress have not been conducted. This study involved a scale survey to assess the levels and distributions of 54 antimicrobial residues, including 4 tetracyclines, 19 quinolones, 22 sulfonamides, 3 amphenicols, and 6 macrolides in mattress on 12 swine farms that use ectopic fermentation systems (EFS) in Zhejiang Province. A total of 25 antimicrobials were detected in mattress, and the total residue amount of antimicrobial in mattress samples of each farm was 0.

β-1,3/1,6-glucan as a prebiotic improves immune performance in animals. These functions are closely related to the effect of β-1,3/1,6-glucan on gut microbiota structure. However, the effect of β-1,3/1,6-glucan on the gut microbiota structure of broilers is unclear.

Widely distributed multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria threaten animals and human health. Nevertheless, few antimicrobial resistance (AMR) surveys of large-scale animal-derived bacteria have been explored. Here, 1,468 (97.

Microorganisms have developed many strategies in the process of long-term defense against external attacks, one of which is the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR)/CRISPR-associated proteins (Cas) bacterial immunological system. In this study, the whole genome of 300 strains of was collected, the CRISPR-Cas system in the strains was statistically analyzed, and the types and structures of CRISPR system in were explored, as well as the correlation between CRISPR and mobile genetic elements (MGEs). Through principal component analysis (PCA), we found that Cas gene, plasmids, integron, IS, IS, and enzymes of DNA metabolism were closely related to CRISPR-Cas.

Bacteria have developed diverse strategies to counteract virus predation, one of which is the clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeat (CRISPR) and CRISPR associated (Cas) proteins immune defense system. In this study, the structure and function of the CRISPR-Cas system in 120 Vibrio strains were analyzed by bioinformatics methods, as well as the correlation between CRISPR and mobile genetic elements (MEGs). Only 61 Vibrio strains contained one or more CRISPR structures, and finally 102 CRISPRs were identified.

This research aimed to investigate the presence and transferability of the extended-spectrum β-lactamase resistance genes to identify the genetic context of multi-drug resistant (MDR) loci in two plasmids from livestock and poultry breeding environment. MICs were determined by broth microdilution. A total of 137 resistant to extended-spectrum β-lactam antibiotics were screened for the presence of the ESBL genes by PCR.
