Background: The number and proportion of HIV/AIDS patients among older people are continuously and rapidly increasing in China. We conducted a detailed molecular epidemiological analysis of HIV-1 epidemic strains in a developed city in eastern China and found that elderly people play a crucial role in the transmission of subtypes and high pretreatment drug resistance (PDR).
Methods: A total of 1048 samples were obtained from 1129 (92.

As a typical biomarker of Alzheimer's disease, rapid and specific detection of tau protein can help improve the early diagnosis and prognosis of the disease. In this study, a simple sandwich electrochemical immunosensor was developed for rapid detection of tau protein. Primary monoclonal antibodies (mAb1) against the middle domain of tau protein (amino acids 189-195) were immobilized on the gold electrode surface through a self-assembled monolayer (SAM) of 3,3'-dithiobis (sulfosuccinimidyl propionate) (DTSSP).

Time and temperature affect the viscoelasticity of woven composites, and thus affect their long-term mechanical properties. We develop a multiscale method considering fiber twist angle and interfaces to predict viscoelasticity. The multiscale approach is based on homogenization theory and the time-temperature superposition principle (TTSP).

Designing thermal conductivity efficiently is one of the most important study fields for taking the advantages of woven composites. This paper presents an inverse method for the thermal conductivity design of woven composite materials. Based on the multi-scale structure characteristics of woven composites, a multi-scale model of inversing heat conduction coefficient of fibers is established, including a macroscale composite model, mesoscale fiber yarn model, microscale fiber and matrix model.

In this study, the tensile creep (TC) of high-strength concrete (HSC) containing 30 wt% fly ash was measured at early ages to investigate the applicability of creep prediction models for concrete containing FA, and to provide ideas to study the prediction model of concrete creep containing other SCMs in the future. The TC values obtained from the experiment were compared with the predicted values of six TC models. Then the accuracy of different models was evaluated by the ratio of predicted values to experimental values.

In response to the COVID-19 epidemic, China proposes to take this epidemic as an opportunity to further cultivate residents' healthy living habits and meet their demand for healthy living. Based on relevant research reviews and theoretical analysis, the concept model of home fitness satisfaction for Chinese residents is constructed. The research hypothesis is tested by SEM, and the conceptual model is modified.

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in indoor air are considered a major threat to human health and environmental safety. The development of applicable technologies for the removal of VOCs is urgently needed. Nowadays, photocatalytic oxidation (PCO) based on metal-containing photocatalysts has been regarded as a promising method.

Land use management is the primary source of resource planning, and the management part of the sustainable ecosystem of water and soil resources is an important evidence for the sustainable development of the economic and social system. This is guided by the concept of sustainable development, and on the basis of the accumulation of relevant research practices and outcomes at home and abroad, water and land based systems are a research object and study the status of water and soil resource utilization, the state of water and soil coupling, and the supply and demand status of water resources. A balance analysis was carried out, and the gray linear programming model was used to optimize the allocation of land resources using the water quality dynamic monitoring model, which achieved the best coupling of water and soil resources and the greatest benefit.

This paper presents an experimental investigation on geopolymer coatings (GPC) in terms of surface protection of civil structures. The GPC mixtures were prepared with a quadruple precursor simultaneously containing fly ash (FA), ground granulated blast-furnace slag (GBFS), metakaolin (MK), and Portland cement (OPC). Setting time, compressive along with adhesive strength and permeability, were tested and interpreted from a perspective of potential applications.

To address global challenges, 193 countries have committed to the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Quantifying progress towards achieving the SDGs is essential to track global efforts towards sustainable development and guide policy development and implementation. However, systematic methods for assessing spatio-temporal progress towards achieving the SDGs are lacking.

Currently, wireless sensor network (WSN) protocols are mainly used to achieve low power consumption of the network, but there are few studies on the quality of services (QoS) of these networks. Coverage can be used as a measure of the WSN's QoS, which can further reflect the quality of data information. Additionally, the coverage requirements of regional monitoring target points are different in real applications.

To further prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor network (WSN), researchers from various countries have proposed many clustering routing protocols. However, the total network energy consumption of most protocols is not well minimized and balanced. To alleviate this problem, this paper proposes an energy-efficient clustering routing protocol in WSNs.

The residues and risks of heavy metals in the environment and organisms have attracted great concern for many years. However, the information on their long-term spatiotemporal trends and potential health and ecological risks are scarce. In this study, a total of 1815 seawater samples, 451 sediment samples, and 54 seafood samples were collected in Xiangshan Bay, China, between 2011 and 2016.

This review comprehensively summarizes the existing knowledge regarding the chemical implications of anthocyanin glycosyl acylation, the effects of acylation on the stability of acylated anthocyanins and the corresponding mechanisms. Anthocyanin glycosyl acylation commonly refers to the phenomenon in which the hydroxyl groups of anthocyanin glycosyls are esterified by aliphatic or aromatic acids, which is synthetically represented by the acylation sites as well as the types and numbers of acyl groups. Generally, glycosyl acylation increases the in vitro and in vivo chemical stability of acylated anthocyanins, and the mechanisms primarily involve physicochemical, stereochemical, photochemical, biochemical or environmental aspects under specific conditions.

For their unique properties and good solubility for many different materials, ionic liquids (ILs) have been applied in several fields, such as separation process, synthesis, catalysis and electrochemistry. This paper focuses on applications of ILs in organic pollutants control. An overview of separation, recycling and control of organic pollutants with ILs is present, for example, phenolic compounds, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAHs) and dyes from wastewater, dioxins from waste gas, polyamides from solid wastes, chlorophenothane (DDT) and dieldrin from contaminated soils.

In the polymeric title complex, {[Mn(C(8)H(4)O(4))(C(7)H(6)N(2))(H(2)O)(2)]·2H(2)O}(n), the Mn(II) cation is coordinated by two benzene-dicarboxyl-ate anions, one benzimidazole ligand and two water mol-ecules in a distorted MnNO(5) octa-hedral geometry. In the crystal, each benzene-dicarboxyl-ate anion bridges adjacent Mn(II) cations through the terminal carboxyl-ate groups, forming a polymeric complex chain along the a axis. One Mn-O(carboxyl-ate) bond is much longer than the others.
