Introduction: Transarterial chemoembolization combined with lenvatinib and PD-1 inhibitor (triple therapy) has displayed encouraging clinical outcomes for unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (uHCC). We aimed to explore the prognostic value of pathological response (PR) in patients with initially uHCC who underwent conversion surgery following triple therapy and identify predictors of major pathological response (MPR).

Methods: A total of 76 patients with initially uHCC who underwent conversion surgery following triple therapy were retrospectively analyzed.

Background: Heart failure is a cardiovascular disorder, while sepsis is a common non-cardiac cause of mortality. Background: To investigate whether feature tracking cardiac magnetic resonance (FT-CMR) can identify subclinical myocardial dysfunction in patients with myocardial infarction with non-obstructed coronary arteries (MINOCA).

Methods: Clinical data and CMR images of MINOCA patients (N = 46) and control individuals (N = 12) were compared. The infarct and edema volume to total myocardium, peak global longitudinal strain (GLS), global longitudinal strain rate (GLSR), peak global circumferential strain (GCS), global circumferential strain rate, peak global radial strain, and global radial strain rate were measured.

Impact of Postoperative Chemotherapy on Survival in Patients with Primary Central Nervous System Lymphoma: A Study Based on the SEER Database.

We aimed to investigate the impact of postoperative chemotherapy (POCT) on survival in patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) using data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database. This study included 786 PCNSL patients, of which 605 received chemotherapy after surgery, and 181 did not. Data from the SEER registry database (2007-2020) were used to analyze PCNSL.

Background: Independent and valid prognostic predictors for locally advanced gastric cancer (LAGC) patients with non-elevated serum tumor markers (Triple-negative: CA199 < 37U/ml, CEA < 5 µg/ml and CA125 < 35U/ml) before and after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) remain unclear.
