Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the lack of knowledge about the transplacental transport of antibodies in unvaccinated term and preterm infants and possible differences in antibody-mediated immunity in the fetus depending on maternal vaccination in their own infancy.
Study Design: The study was conducted as a prospective cross-sectional study between 2017 and 2018 and included a total of 334 participants. The study included 194 pregnant women with a preterm birth (before 37 weeks) and 140 pregnant women with a term birth.

Ectopic pregnancy (EP) is the leading cause of maternal morbidity and mortality in the first trimester. Using an untargeted metabolomic approach, we sought to identify putative plasma biomarkers using tandem liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry for the detection of tubal EP. This case-control study included the prospective recruitment of 50 tubal EP cases and 50 early intrauterine pregnancy controls.

Introduction: We aimed to demonstrate the sensitivity of frozen section for patients with adult granulosa cell tumor (AGCT) and analyze the clinico-pathological factors that may be associated with sensitivity.
Material Methods: This is a multicenter study including data of 10 Gynecological Oncology Departments. Frozen-section results of patients who had ovarian AGCT at the final pathology report were retrospectively analyzed.

Objective: The main feature of adult granulosa cell tumors (AGCT) is their capacity to secrete hormones, with nearly all of them capable of synthesizing oestradiol. The primary goal of this study is to identify synchronized endometrial pathologies, particularly endometrial cancer, in AGCT patients who had undergone a hysterectomy.
Materials And Methods: The study cohort comprised retrospectively of 316 AGCT patients from 10 tertiary gynecological oncology centers.

Importance: The long-term effects of surfactant administration via a thin catheter (minimally invasive surfactant therapy [MIST]) in preterm infants with respiratory distress syndrome remain to be definitively clarified.
Objective: To examine the effect of MIST on death or neurodevelopmental disability (NDD) at 2 years' corrected age.
Design, Setting, And Participants: Follow-up study of a randomized clinical trial with blinding of clinicians and outcome assessors conducted in 33 tertiary-level neonatal intensive care units in 11 countries.

This study aimed to determine whether serum mid-luteal progesterone (MLP) levels measured in the current treatment cycles of infertile women undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation and intrauterine insemination following the sequential use of clomiphene citrate and gonadotropin may predict pregnancy. A total of 107 consecutive anovulatory women were included in this prospective cohort study. Patients with other causes of infertility were also excluded from the study.

Background Preeclampsia (PE) is one of the highest-risk pregnancies and a complicated condition that occurs in 2% to 8% of pregnancies and is associated with markers of a systemic inflammatory response (SIR). In this study, we aimed to determine the role of these markers in predicting PE. Methodology A total of 300 women with singleton pregnancies and cephalic presentation were included in the study.

Ovarian response to stimulation mainly determines the length of stimulation. However, there is no clarity in the literature regarding the optimal duration required to achieve oocyte maturity in patients with the poor ovarian response (POR) defined by Bologna criteria. Therefore, a total of 267 cycles that fulfilled the inclusion criteria were selected retrospectively.

Objective: To assess the effect of cabergoline on endometrial vascular endothelial growth factor receptor-2 (VEGFR-2) immunoexpression in an ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) rat model.
Material And Methods: Twenty-one immature female Wistar rats were assigned into three groups: group 1, the control group; group 2, stimulated with gonadotropins to mimic OHSS; and group 3, in which an OHSS protocol was induced and thereafter treated with cabergoline (100 μg/kg/day). Body weight, ovarian volume, corpora lutea numbers, and endometrial VEGFR-2 expression were compared between the groups.

Background In this study, we aimed to demonstrate the efficacy of cysteinyl leukotriene levels, which play a role in inflammation, in predicting the severity of preeclampsia (PE) and to determine whether this marker can be used as a screening tool. Methods In this cross-sectional analytic study, we classified pregnant women who were normotensive (control) or PE or severe PE (SPE) between March 2019 and July 2019. Singleton pregnant 60 women who met the following criteria for the diagnosis of PE were included in the study group.

Introduction: The etiologies of diminished ovarian reserve (DOR) are still poorly understood, and many factors such as age, autoimmunity, genetics, idiopathicity, iatrogenesis, and oxidative stress (OS) play a role. Oxidative cellular damage increases following reactive oxygen species (ROS)-induced aging. This is the first study to evaluate the serum and follicular fluid (FF) thiol/disulfide homeostasis in patients under 35 years of age with DOR undergoing in vitro fertilization (IVF)/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI).

Objective: To evaluate whether compliance with European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) surgery quality indicators impacts disease-free survival in patients undergoing radical hysterectomy for cervical cancer.
Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, 15 ESGO quality indicators were assessed in the SUCCOR database (patients who underwent radical hysterectomy for International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) stage 2009 IB1, FIGO 2018 IB1, and IB2 cervical cancer between January 2013 and December 2014), and the final score ranged between 0 and 16 points. Centers with more than 13 points were classified as high-quality indicator compliance centers.

Objective: To evaluate disease-free survival of cervical conization prior to radical hysterectomy in patients with stage IB1 cervical cancer (International Federation of Gynecology and Obstetrics (FIGO) 2009).
Methods: A multicenter retrospective observational cohort study was conducted including patients from the Surgery in Cervical Cancer Comparing Different Surgical Aproaches in Stage IB1 Cervical Cancer (SUCCOR) database with FIGO 2009 IB1 cervical carcinoma treated with radical hysterectomy between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2014. We used propensity score matching to minimize the potential allocation biases arising from the retrospective design.

Iodine has long been recognized as an essential micronutrient for maternal thyroid function, as well as fetal growth and development during pregnancy. The current study aimed to evaluate thyroid hormone status, urinary iodine concentration (UIC), thyroid volume, and nodularity in pregnant women, throughout trimesters, in a borderline iodine sufficient, urban area with mandatory table salt iodization. Two-hundred-sixty-five pregnant women ranging from 17 to 45 years participated in this prospective longitudinal study.
