Nasal polyps recur in approximately one-third of patients after surgical treatment. It would be beneficial to be able to predict the patients in whom we might expect recurrence and to predict the clinical outcome after surgery. The study included 30 patients operated for nasal polyps.

The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence and required treatment of periodontal disease in Zagreb using the CPITN system. A total of 3176 subjects of both sexes, divided into reference age groups, was studied using the methods and standards recommended by the World Health Organization, the Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs (CPITN). A very high prevalence of periodontal disease in the population of Zagreb was recorded.

Another restrict is shallow depth of cure, particularly of darker composite shades in premolar and molar region. Palatal groove is a rare morphological defect of upper incisors, frequently associated with localized destruction of periodontal tissue with endodontic complications. In this study, a sample of 1,081 male, young adult subjects, aged 20 to 22, palatal grooving was recorded in 11 (1.01%) subjects, affecting 15 incisors.
