Developing robust and secure image encryption methods for transmitting multiple images in batches over unprotected networks has become imperative. This necessity arises from the limitations of single-image encryption techniques in managing the escalating volume of extensive data. This paper introduces a novel three-layer multiple-image encryption (MIE) technique to encrypt batch images based on three 2D-chaotic maps.

The emergence of pandrug-resistant (PDR) and extensive drug-resistant (XDR) methicillin-resistant and vancomycin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA and VRSA) isolates from bovine milk samples along with biofilm formation ability and harboring various virulence genes complicates the treatment of bovine mastitis and highlights the serious threat to public health. This study investigated for the first time the frequency, antimicrobial resistance profiles, biofilm-forming ability, virulence factors, spa and staphylococcal cassette chromosome mec (SCCmec) types of MRSA and VRSA isolated from clinical and subclinical bovine mastitis in Egypt. A total of 808 milk samples were collected from each quarter of 202 dairy animals, including 31 buffaloes and 171 cattle.

Background: Coronary physiology to guide multi-vessel coronary intervention is associated with better outcome. In the presence of a coronary chronic total occlusion (CTO), hemodynamic evaluation of intermediate lesions in the donor coronary artery supplying a CTO territory still has limitations. We aim to evaluate implementing quantitative flow ratio (QFR) in assessing angiographically intermediate lesions of the main donor coronary artery supplying a CTO territory.

Rationale And Objectives: Central arterial blood pressure (CBP) is considered a more valuable prognostic marker of major cardiovascular diseases than peripheral blood pressure. Non-invasive evaluation of central aortic pressure by Doppler echocardiography is a hopeful tool, avoiding many complications of invasive catheter strategy and diminishing time and costs.
Methods: A total of 118 patients were referred for elective cardiac catheterization at the Cardiovascular Medicine Department, Mansoura University.

This study aims to examine the restorative impact of corn cob biochar (CCB) on pendimethalin (PMD)-induced toxicity in Oreochromis niloticus. Fish were divided into four groups: the first control group without treatment, the second group (CCB) exposed to 10 g CCB/L, the third group (PDM) exposed to 0.355 mg PDM/L, and the fourth group (PDM+ CCB) receiving both 0.

In response to the World Health Organization's research agenda of antimicrobial resistance in human health, this study appraised the antibacterial and antibiofilm synergistic activity of meropenem and ZnO nanoparticles (ZnO-NPs) combination against carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP). The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of meropenem in combination was found to be ~1/12 of its MIC alone. The results of microtiter dilution assay showed that the combination was more efficient in reducing the biofilm biomass than meropenem alone or ZnO-NPs alone.

This study investigates the impact of recent Artificial Intelligence (AI)-driven technological innovations on carbon prices across different quantiles, assessing the influence of AI stock prices on energy prices based on European carbon allowances while controlling for other macroeconomic factors. Using robust methods such as quantile-on-quantile regression, wavelet analysis, and transfer entropy, the research quantifies the information flow between the AI market and carbon allowances. Using daily data with four alternative AI stock prices from September 14, 2016, to December 29, 2023, the findings reveal a strong effect of AI returns on carbon prices, with significant fluctuations across price quantiles and consistent long-term average growth in market returns.

This study evaluated the effects of Moringa oleifera leaf powder extract stabilized with zinc nanoparticles (ZnNPs-MLPE) as a natural growth promoter in broiler diets. Randomly assigned 264 one-day-old Ross 308 chicks to four different feeding treatments, with each group being subdivided into six replicates, each comprising 11 unsexed chicks. The control group was fed a basic diet without additives, while the experimental groups were supplemented with 1.

Brucellosis is a disease that poses a higher risk of transmission to animals and people who have close interactions with them, such as farmers. Therefore, the present study was designed to determine the seroprevalence of bovine brucellosis and associated risk factors in Kasur, Punjab, Pakistan. One hundred pooled milk samples from 100 smallholder mixed herds of cows and buffaloes with a total study population of 425 animals (277 cattle and 148 buffalos) with a range of up to seven animals in each herd were collected and tested through a milk ring test (MRT).

We aimed to assess the ultrasonographic changes in diaphragmatic thickness and LI during MV and their prediction for extubation failure in preterm infants. In this prospective observational study, mechanically ventilated preterm infants, < 30 weeks gestation, within the first 24 h of life underwent a baseline, within 24 h of MV, and serial diaphragmatic and lung ultrasounds scans until their first extubation attempt.
