Background/aim: Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory demyelinating central nervous system (CNS) disease. Among the paraclinical tests, brain and spinal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is primarily involved in the diagnosis process, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) analysis is fundamental in diagnosing MS and the differential diagnosis. A positive relationship was demonstrated between oligoclonal band (OCB) positivity, CSF band number and immunoglobulin G(IgG) index.

Objective: Epicardial fat thickness (EFT) and chlamydia infection are independent cardiovascular risk factors in coronary artery disease (CAD). We aimed to evaluate the effect of coexistence of EFT and chlamydia infection on the presence and severity of CAD in patients with stable angina pectoris (SAP).
Patients And Methods: The study included 208 patients with SAP, divided into a CAD group (n=112) and a control group (n=96).

Purpose: To investigate the importance of mucinous histopathology on the assessment of tumor response in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) receiving regorafenib.
Materials And Method: All patients diagnosed with histologically confirmed mCRC in 2 oncology centers between 2013 and 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Among 678 patients diagnosed with mCRC, 103 patients were treated with regorafenib.

Torsion of a wandering spleen is a rare disease. The symptoms and signs of this condition are only present when the splenic pedicle torts. The etiological factors are the congenital absence of the ligaments that hold the spleen in its normal anatomic position, or the relaxation of these ligaments resulting from conditions like trauma and abdominal surgery.

Methods: The study was conducted at two centers, one of which is a university hospital in a rural area and the other a community hospital in capital city, for 5 years (1999-2003). The subjects were < 18 years old adolescent mothers.
