Health state utility values in patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Introduction: Ankylosing spondylitis (AS) is a chronic condition that requires lifelong treatment and results in a serious disease burden. Health state utility values (HSUVs) are a valuable tool for quantifying this burden and conducting cost-utility analysis.

Objective: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to obtain estimates of HSUVs in patients with AS, explored potential sources of heterogeneity, and compared pooled patient HSUVs with population norms.

Introduction: Due to the specific location, the potential advantages of laparoscopic gastrectomy (LG) compared with open gastrectomy (OG) for Siewert II/III adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG) remain uncertain. Purpose: Cardiac syndrome X (CSX) is a condition with normal coronary angiography but angina pectoris. Chronic inflammation caused by () infection may play a pathogenic role in CSX. Therefore, we conducted a meta-analysis to explore the relationship between infection and risk of CSX.

Homocysteine (HCY) levels in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF): A meta-analysis.

Purpose: Atrial fibrillation (AF) is one of the most common persistent arrhythmia, and its complications include cerebral embolism, arterial embolism and heart failure. Some studies have found that elevated Homocysteine (HCY) levels is a new risk factor for AF. Currently, there is no meta-analysis to explore whether the HCY levels is related to AF.

Incidence and Outcomes of C5 Palsy and Axial Pain After Open-Door Laminoplasty or Laminectomy and Fusion: A Meta-Analysis.

Objective: C5 palsy and axial pain are significant factors affecting the quality of life after posterior cervical surgery; however, there has been no clear and supportive conclusion on which method is more suitable in a certain case. As a result, we compare the clinical outcomes, complication rates, and anatomical changes between open-door laminoplasty (ODL) and laminectomy and fusion (LF) for cervical spondylotic myelopathy. This is a systematic literature review and meta-analysis.
