Circular RNA (circRNA) is a novel type of RNA that plays an important role in the occurrence and development of many malignant tumors. However, the potential regulatory role and molecular mechanisms of circRNAs in cervical cancer (CC) are still not clear. Here, we explored circRNAs associated with CC from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) datasets GSE113696 and GSE102686.

Objective: To explore the value of human papillomavirus (HPV) E6/E7 mRNA detection in the diagnosis of cervical cancer and its precancerous lesions after kidney transplantation.

Methods: One hundred and sixty-six women who underwent cervical cancer screening after kidney transplantation were selected and received thinprep cytology test (TCT), HPV DNA and HPV E6/E7 mRNA tests. A biopsy under colposcopy was performed for those with suspicious test results.

Background: This study aims to characterize genetically related class 1 integrons In1069, In893 and In1287 to In1290, and to further propose a scheme of stepwise integration or excision of individual gene cassettes (GCs) to generation of these integron variations.

Methods: Six of 139 non-redundant strains were studied by bacterial antimicrobial susceptibility testing, detection of carbapenemase activity, and integron sequencing and sequence comparison.

Results: Six novel class 1 integrons, In0, In1069, and In1287 to In1290, together with the previously characterized In893, were determined from the above strains.

To study CD10 expression in cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF) and related effect on colorectal cancer initiation and progression. A total of 226 surgical removed colorectal cancer specimens were collected with patient follow-up data. A panel of immunohistochemical markers(CD10, Ki-67, p53, cyclin D1 and β-catenin) were evaluated in carcinomas, adjacent adenomas and paired normal colorectal mucosa with correlation of clinicopathological parameters.
