A highly efficient and regioselective method for constructing functionalized conjugated enals the TfO-mediated tandem reaction of enaminones with thiophenols has been described. Chain products with excellent stereoselectivity could be obtained through substrate regulation. Additionally, a feasible method for synthesizing β-naphthalaldehydes through PhSONa/DABCO promoting hydrogen atom transfer process has also been reported here.

- Geniposide was found to inhibit HSC proliferation and reduce levels of proteins associated with fibrosis, such as collagen I and α-SMA, in both human cell cultures and mouse models.

Because of the ability to metabolize a large number of electron acceptors such as nitrate, nitrite, fumarate, and metal oxides, species have attracted much attention in recent years. Generally, the use of these electron acceptors is mainly achieved through electron transfer proteins and their interactions which will dynamically change across different environmental conditions in cells. Therefore, functional analysis of condition-specific molecular networks can reveal biological information on electron transfer processes.

Methods: A database search of PubMed and Ovid Embase was conducted for epidemiologic studies published up to December 17, 2019. The effective size was estimated by pooled prevalence, annualized incidence/risk, relative risk (RR), and their corresponding 95% confidence intervals (CIs).
