Near sets (also called Descriptively Near Sets) classify nonempty sets of objects based on object feature values. The Near Set Theory provides a framework for measuring the similarity of objects based on features that describe them in much the same way humans perceive the similarity of objects. This paper presents a novel approach for face recognition using Near Set Theory that takes into account variations in facial features due to varying facial expressions, and facial plastic surgery.

Biofuels extracted from plant biomass can be used as fuel in CI engines to lower a hazardous atmospheric pollutant and mitigate climate risks. Furthermore, its implementation is hampered by inevitable obstacles such as feedstocks and the crop area required for their cultivation, leading to a lack of agricultural land for the expansion of food yields. Despite this, microalgae have been discovered to be the most competent and unwavering source of biodiesel due to their distinguishing characteristics of being non-eatable and requiring no cropland for cultivation.

Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates how different amounts of fly ash and silicon carbide reinforcements, along with thermal exposure, impact the tensile properties of aluminium AA 5083 composites through a process known as precipitation hardening.
  • Using advanced techniques like scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS), the researchers found that thermal treatment leads to a uniform distribution of the reinforcements and improves the overall strength of the composites.
  • The study also reveals that while tensile and yield strength increase up to 160 °C, they slightly decrease at higher temperatures (200 °C), and with reinforcements, there's a notable decrease in % elongation but an increase in stiffness and elastic modulus, making these composites suitable for automotive and aerospace
