Methods: This prospective, multicenter, observational study included patients with gastric cancer who underwent radical gastrectomy at 5 hospitals between June 2016 and May 2018. Patients who were preoperatively administered anticoagulants were excluded.

An ectopic kidney is a common congenital anomaly of the urogenital system, but malignant tumor in an ectopic kidney has been rarely reported. We report a case of ureteral carcinoma arising from an ectopic kidney in an 83-year-old male. He visited a hospital complaining of gross hematuria.

A 67-year-old man presented at our hospital with severe edema on the left side of his neck, chest and brachial regions. He had a history of right radical nephrectomy due to renal cell carcinoma (RCC, clear cell subtype, stage II) 15 years earlier. Thereafter, metastases to the pancreatic tail and right lung, and left lung metastasis were removed at 8 years and 11 years, respectively, after the nephrectomy.

Background And Purpose: This study was undertaken to analyze enhancement patterns of the dura around sellar tumors and to compare the results with tumor invasion or compression of the cavernous sinuses. Postoperative enhancement patterns on MR images were compared with preoperative findings.
Methods: Contrast-enhanced coronal and sagittal MR images were examined prospectively in 96 patients with sellar tumors (65 macroadenomas, 15 microadenomas, 14 Rathke cleft cysts, and two chordomas at the sella).

Objective: This study was designed to histochemically clarify the presence of nerves containing NADPH diaphorase, representing the catalytic activity of nitric oxide synthase, in the human female genital organ.
Study Design: Female genital organs were isolated for NADPH diaphorase staining by extensive or simple hysterectomy from ten patients.
Results: Paracervical ganglia contained many nerve cells intensely stained.
