Integrated wound care through sequentially promoting hemostasis, sealing, and healing holds great promise in clinical practice. However, it remains challenging for regular bioadhesives to achieve integrated care of dynamic wounds due to the difficulties in adapting to dynamic mechanical and wet wound environments. Herein, we reported a type of dehydrated, physical double crosslinked microgels (DPDMs) which were capable of in situ forming highly stretchable, compressible and tissue-adhesive hydrogels for integrated care of dynamic wounds.

The development of growth factor-free biomaterials for bone tissue regeneration with anti-infection and anti-inflammatory activities remains challenging. Black phosphorus nanosheets (BPNs), with distinctive attributes, including photothermal conversion and calcium ion chelation, offer potential for use in bone tissue engineering and infection prevention. However, BPNs are prone to oxidation and degradation in aqueous environments, and methods to stabilize BPNs for long-term bone repair remain insufficient.

Background: The cognitive decline induced by Alzheimer's disease (AD) is closely related to changes in hippocampal structure captured by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). To accurately analyze the morphological changes of the hippocampus induced by AD, it is necessary to establish a one-to-one surface correspondence to compare the morphological measurements across different hippocampal surfaces. However, most existing landmark-based registration methods cannot satisfy both landmark matching and diffeomorphism under large deformations.

Chronic inflammation is one of the central drivers in the development of dry eye disease (DED), in which pyroptosis induced by the NLRP3/caspase-1/gasdermin D (GSDMD) pathway plays a key role. This pathway has become a major target for the treatment of a variety of inflammatory disorders. Oridonin (Ori) is a naturally occurring substance with anti-inflammatory properties obtained from Rabdosia rubescens.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the involvement of the TLR4/NF-κB/NLRP3 signaling pathway and its underlying mechanism in diabetic dry eye.
Methods: Two models of diabetic dry eye were established in high glucose-induced human corneal epithelial (HCE-T) cells and streptozotocin (STZ)-induced C57BL/6 mice, and the TLR4 inhibitor fosfenopril (FOS) was utilized to suppress the TLR4/NF-κB/NLRP3 signaling pathway. The expression changes in TLR4, NF-κB, NLRP3, and IL-1β, and other factors were detected by Western blot and RT‒qPCR, the wound healing rate was evaluated by cell scratch assay, and the symptoms of diabetic mice were evaluated by corneal sodium fluorescein staining and tear secretion assay.

- Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS)/acute lung injury (ALI) is a life-threatening condition marked by severe lung inflammation and increased lung endothelial barrier permeability. Endothelial glycocalyx deterioration is the primary factor of vascular permeability changes in ARDS/ALI. Although previous studies have shown that phospholipase D2 (PLD2) is closely related to the onset and progression of ARDS/ALI, its role and mechanism in the damage of endothelial cell glycocalyx remains unclear.
