This paper presents an innovative framework for the automated diagnosis of gastric cancer using artificial intelligence. The proposed approach utilizes a customized deep learning model called MobileNetV2, which is optimized using a Dynamic variant of the Pelican Optimization Algorithm (DPOA). By combining these advanced techniques, it is feasible to achieve highly accurate results when applied to a dataset of endoscopic gastric images.

This paper presents a three-dimensional fluid-structure-coupled simulation of a flexible caudal fin with different trailing-edge shapes. The influences of caudal-fin shape on hydrodynamic performance are investigated by comparing the results of a simplified model of a square caudal fin with forked and deeply forked caudal fins under a wider range of non-dimensional flapping frequency, 0.6 < < 1.

This study assessed the components of anaerobically digested sludge, activated sludge, and microbial and extracellular polymeric substance (EPS) enzymes to identify the mechanisms underlying nitrogen removal and soil regeneration. 16S rRNA gene amplicon-based sequencing was used to determine the microbial community composition and the related National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) protein database was used to construct a conventional library from the observed community. EPS components were identified using gel-free proteomic (Liquid Chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry-LC/MS/MS) methods.

To solve this problem, a new method based on a meta-model is proposed in this study. Hence, the EnergyPlus™ is used as the simulation tool for the performance simulation of the building, then a couple of the multi-criteria Modified Coot Optimization Algorithm (MCOA) dynamically combined with the artificial neural network meta-models (ANN-MM) are employed.

Freshwater resources as a key aspect of socio-economic development, provide a large number of services in human and environmental systems. Nevertheless, human appropriation of these water resources and the modification of landscapes lead to potential threats on water availability and quality from local to global scales. The Inle Lake in Myanmar is an economically, traditionally, and ecologically important freshwater ecosystem that faced severe degradation from the 2000s.

One of the critical challenges in deploying the cleaning robots is the completion of covering the entire area. Current tiling robots for area coverage have fixed forms and are limited to cleaning only certain areas. The reconfigurable system is the creative answer to such an optimal coverage problem.

An effective process for the green and rapid synthesis of biologically active polysubstituted pyrroles and 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazoles derivatives using Cu@imine/FeO MNPs catalyst under solvent-free conditions is explained. This catalyst showed high reactivity for the synthesis of a set of different derivatives of polysubstituted pyrroles and 1,2,4,5-tetrasubstituted imidazole derivatives under appropriate reaction conditions and short times. Moreover, the catalyst was also recycled and reused for six runs with no considerable reduction in reactivity and yields.

Silver nanoparticles have antibacterial activity. However, the nanoparticles are unstable and easily form aggregates, which decreases their antibacterial activity. To improve the dispersion stability of silver nanoparticles in aqueous media and to increase their effectiveness as antibacterial agents, we coated triangular plate-like silver nanoparticles (silver nanoplates, Ag NPLs) with one or two layers of gold atoms (Ag@Au1L NPLs and Ag@Au2L NPLs, respectively).

Introduction: , a nitrogen-fixing bacterium, was isolated from rhizospheric soil in central Myanmar.
Methods & Materials: The nitrogen-fixing activity of this bacterium was detected by plate screening method using glucose nitrogen free mineral medium and ammonium test-kit Cellulolytic activity was screened by plat assay and detected by Dinitrosalicyclic acid method (DNS).
Results & Discussion: The isolated grew in media containing 3-12% of NaCl, although the growth became poor when NaCl concentrations increased.

The effect of the properties of a protein on its adsorption to a metal surface in the presence of external electric potential was investigated. Protein adsorption processes at different surface potentials were measured for fifteen types of proteins using an in-situ ellipsometry. The tested proteins were classified into three groups, based on the amount of protein that was adsorbed as a function of the surface potential: In First group of proteins, an increasing trend for the amount adsorbed with a more positive surface potential was found; The amount adsorbed of α-chymotrypsinogen A and ribonuclease A (Second group) were roughly constant and independent of the applied surface electric potentials; In Third group, the amount adsorbed decreased with increasing surface potential.

Transdermal protein delivery is a powerful and attractive method for protein therapy and dermal vaccination compared with other administrations. However, this delivery method is restricted by the low permeability of the stratum corneum (SC), a hydrophobic barrier that restricts the entry of hydrophilic molecules such as proteins. In this study, we developed an improved gel patch system carrying ovalbumin and ovalbumin epitope peptide, and then compared their permeability into the skin.

Gold nanorods are promising metals in several biomedical applications such as bioimaging, thermal therapy, and drug delivery. Gold nanorods have strong absorption bands in near-infrared (NIR) light region and show photothermal effects. Since NIR light can penetrate deeply into tissues, their unique optical, chemical, and biological properties have attracted considerable clinical interest.
