Background: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) development is closely linked to microbiota, influenced by geography, ethnicity, gender, and age. While the relationship between oral microbiota and T2DM has been explored, specific microbiota associated with T2DM in the Dai and Han populations remains unclear. This study aims to compare oral microbiota differences and identify keystone species between these populations, both with and without T2DM.

Background/aim: The purpose of this study was to examine the hepatic bacterial composition and metabolome characteristics of patients with NAFLD using 16S rDNA sequencing and metabolomics. Application of clown care in hospitalized children: A scoping review.

Purpose: This study aims to provide healthcare providers with insights into relevant interventions by examining the timing, format, content, outcome measures, and effects of clown care interventions on hospitalized children.

Methods: This study utilized a scoping review methodology based on the framework by Arksey and O'Malley. The search for Chinese and English literature on the utilization of clown care for hospitalized children was conducted in databases including CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, China Biology Medicine Database, PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, CINAHL, and Cochrane Library.

Objective: This study aimed to compare the performance of amide proton transfer-weighted imaging (APTWI) and diffusion kurtosis imaging (DKI) in differentiating benign from malignant breast lesions, evaluate molecular subtypes of breast cancer, and determine the diagnostic efficacy of the quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (qMRI) parameters in differentiating benign from malignant breast diseases.

The APT signal intensity (SI), apparent kurtosis coefficient (Kapp), non-Gaussian diffusion coefficient (Dapp), and apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values were measured before surgery.

The inclusion criteria focused on RCTs that compared scalp acupuncture with conventional treatments as therapeutic interventions for patients suffering from post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI).

Aim Of Study: This study aims to investigate whether Osteoking inhibits apoptosis of BMSCs in osteoporotic rats via the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway and to conduct a detailed exploration of this mechanism.

Methods: Nine databases were systematically searched for relevant publications, from database establishment to September 20, 2024. All qualitative studies in English and Chinese that explored the real-life experiences, feelings, etc.

Background: Our previous study demonstrated that microRNA-409-5p (miR-409-5p) and its target ubiquitin-specific protease 7 (USP7) were involved in hypoxia-induced cardiomyocyte injury and ischemic left ventricular remodeling (LVR) in rats. This study aimed to probe into the relationship between plasma miR-409-5p and USP7 levels and LVR and dysfunction in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).

Methods: Sixty patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and 60 cases with chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) were enrolled.
