Objective: The significance of noncontrast computer tomography (CT) image markers in predicting hematoma expansion (HE) following intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) within different time intervals in the initial 24 hours after onset may be uncertain. Hence, our objective was to examine the predictive value of clinical factors and CT image markers for HE within the initial 24 hours using machine learning algorithms.
Methods: Four machine learning algorithms, including extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), support vector machine, random forest, and logistic regression, were employed to assess the predictive efficacy of HE within every 6-hour interval during the first 24 hours post-ICH.

Background: The aim of the study is to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of preoperative computed tomography (CT)-guided trans-scapular coil localization (TSCL) of scapula-blocked pulmonary nodules (PNs).
Methods: Between November 2015 and May 2020, 11 patients underwent preoperative CT-guided TSCL procedures owing to PN occlusion by scapula.
Results: A 100% technical success rate was achieved for CT-guided TSCL, with one coil being used for each PN.

Objective: To establish a new nomogram model and provide a new theoretical basis for the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage.
Methods: The clinical data and noncontrast computed tomography images of patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage in 3 tertiary medical centers were collected continuously. Univariate and binary logistic regression analysis were performed to screen out the independent predictors that were significantly associated with hematoma expansion.

Background: The objective of this study was to evaluate the feasibility, safety, and clinical effectiveness of preoperative computed tomography (CT)-guided transfissural coil localization (TFCL) of subfissural lung nodules.
Methods: Five patients with lung nodules who underwent CT-guided TFCL before video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery between November 2015 and December 2018 were included. Technical success rates of TFCL and wedge resection were assessed, as well complications and pathological results.

The epigenetic modification of DNA or RNA may have relationship with the development of diabetic nephropathy (DN). We designed to develop a liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LC-MS) coupled with mobile phase additive sensitization method for the analysis of the dissociative epigenetic modified nucleosides in serum of patients from different periods of DN with the health comparison.
